It was great, he does a great job and know what he is doing. He goes the extra mile to help you.

He has been kind upon occasion, but overall he is mostly self-important and doesn't listen. He has told me I don't have symptoms that I have said I experienced, he can't be bothered to order tests again that he says don't count eben though they were postive for other doctors in the past, and dismisses me in other ways. I am looking for a new rhematologist, but it is difficult when they are all in the same department.

He is not the best listener and he made little effort to find a diagnosis that corresponds to my symptoms and high inflammatory numbers. I felt disbelieved and as if I was beneath his interest. I will look for another rheumatologist and hope they are not all as indifferent as he seems to be.

Would not recommend doctor as he doesn't care if you don't have an autoimmune disease.

He is very proud of himself.

My lucky day was the day I was referred to Dr. Carlson. He is warm, friendly and is one of the best physicians I have had. He truly cares about his patients. I had been ill for about 6 weeks and seemed to be improving and then took a turn for the worst. M husband called him and he returned the call promptly and arranged for me to come in. I was unhappy with current PCP and had discussed with him the need to find a PCP who could better care for my needs. I needed to see someone and at the time I had not yet met with my new PCP. He called my husband and had made arrangements for me come into his office and he would take care of things until I could be seen by my new PCP. The day I went to see Dr. Carlson he was concerned and made a lot of changes in my medications. My husband and friend who I had worked with as a nurse went with me tore him and he was happy to talk to all of us and answer any questions we had.The next morning he called to see how i was doing. He told me he was worried when he saw me the day before and wanted to make sure I had not gotten worse. He takes all the time I need to discuss my medical problems and is happy to answer each question. He is very prompt and has a wonderful bedside manner. From the reception area to the nurses and the lab techs, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carlson for over a year. I think he is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is knowledgeable and takes all the time you need. If I don't understand something he takes the time to explain in detail what is going on. I am a very complecated patient with several medal problems and he definitely sees the whole picture and does not just focus on one thing. i would highly recommend him. He is very kind and caring as is his office staff.

Would not recommend to anyone bedside manner very poor and very uncaring.

Took the time to explain to my husband in layman terms and never felt rushed.
