When I started seeing Dr Dalkin my diabetes was outta control within 20 minutes he had me on the correct medications and insulin regimen now that I can no longer take conventional insulins he has me on a wonderful kind. My a1c is almost normal. He always takes the time to speak with you and address any concerns. He is very quick to get back to you also. I just love this dr.

I have been a pt of Dr Daulkin's for at least 15 years. I have traveled to see him from several different states. His knowledge base is amazing however his caring attitude is what sets him apart.

If all doctors were as personal and engaging as Dr. Dalkin, we would look forward to visiting physicians. He thoroughly explains the medical situation and the possible treatment scenarios. He takes his time with each patient, and seems to find a way to connect with you personally. Highly recommended!

Dr. Dalkin is an outstanding doctor. His quiet, unassuming manner is most welcome and he listens patiently to my questions and concerns. I drive over an hour to see him and consider myself lucky to have found him.

I waited 5 months for an appointment but just before my visit I was canceled and rescheduled for 6 months in the future. Poor planning at the administrative end

I was referred to the UVA endocrinology clinic and was very disappointed in my visit. Dr. Dalkin was very dismissive of my symptoms, going so far as to say they were not hormone related when in fact they are the very definition of hormone imbalance. My thyroid labs are in the low range of "normal" the OLD range not the ranges changed in 2003 in which I am considered hypothyroid. Even so, he refused to look into it any further.
