List of Amie Munson's Reviews
Dr. Munson was my doctor for many years. I am 82 years old, and she gave good advice and good treatments for arthritis; high blood pressure; sleep aids, etc. She will be missed.
Made an appointment for my partner after we pulled a tick off his eye water line. She didn’t look at the bite area, didn’t look at the tick to make sure we got the whole thing or to eval for Lyme or lone star. Prescribed him 2 antibiotic pills and sent him on his way with a swollen eye in serious pain. This isn’t his usual doctor, whom he really likes. It was a same day appointment, so he was stuck with someone who apparently has no patient care skills.
Did not examine or evaluate. Just wrote a prescription and sent away.
My mother went to this nut for nausea that she had suffered with for several months. Her symptoms were reviewed extensively with the scheduler due to Covid and that was not a concern. I am a nurse and knew that was not what she had. Dr. Munson refused to even come into the room without mom going to be tested because her "symptoms" were to much like Covid. She got short of breath walking into the building because she had been sick and sitting for several months. That does not mean Covid!! She was extremely rude and of course the Covid test was negative. Diagnosis came the next week by a real doctor-Breast Cancer stage 3!! Dr. Munson is not a doctor and should be sent back to school to learn some skills in diagnosis, Covid, and most important compassion for patient's.
I saw Dr. Munson for an ER follow up for pleurisy. I was pregnant and my white blood cell count was 13 one day in the ER and the next day it was 16, both were abnormal and high so I asked for antibiotics and/or additional blood work but she said it was not needed. She did not schedule a follow up visit. Two weeks latter I returned to the ER after vomiting excessively at home. My white blood cell count was 20! They did an ultrasound and told me that my baby did not have a heart beat.

I was pregnant and my white blood cell count was 13 one day in the ER and the next day it was 16, both were abnormal and high so I asked for antibiotics and/or additional blood work but she said it was not needed. She did nothing to help me. She did not schedule a follow up visit, she said that was not necessary either. It seems obvious that at least a follow up appointment was appropriate. Two weeks latter I returned to the ER after vomiting excessively at home. My white blood cell count was 20! They did an ultrasound and told me that my baby did not have a heart beat. When I was diagnosed with pleurisy my baby DID have a heartbeat! All doctors know or are supposed to know that infections are dangerous to the baby. What, did she sleep her way through med school???? I will never return. I wish someone had told me not to place my care in her hands so I'm warning everyone now, don't trust this woman!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
