Andrew Keun Chung's Online Review Report Card

I am writing this as a patient rather a colleague. I am giving Dr Chung a triple C rating as he is Caring Compassionate and Competent.Wonderful human being. After having suffered a complication from a prior TURP by another urologist I came to see him 4 days prior to returning to my retirement home in South America obviously they were booked but Dr Chung had his office staff open one hour earlier to be able to see me the next day whereas I had made the trip specifically to see my prior urologist and even knowing that I had traveled specifically for this purpose and I was an old patient and practiced in the same city for over 25 years I was given an appointment for 6 months later. As for outcome when I woke up from anesthesia I was completely symptom free. I shall be forever grateful to Dr. Chung for everything he has done for me. Thank you.

Decent staff. Loved my nurse Nancy I believe. I had a PNE installed a few wks. ago. This was my first encounter with him. Prior to this procedure Is seen Dr. Murano. The installation went ok. He seemed informative enough. Though the rep had to assist him at times guided him I thought. It made me question how new the procedure really was. When I returned to have the device removed. I felt that he was short with me and my questions felt a bit rushed and of little concern. Needless to say I didn't see a whole lot of improvement from the device itself.

I have been seeing Dr Chung for over 5 years. He and his staff are always professional and thorough. I would go nowhere else.

Dr. Chung is an excellent urologist and is able and willing to explain the intricacies of treating urinary problems. He makes specific recommendations for your treatment and describes alternative treatments if appropriate, should you wish to consider them. Dr Chung and I have formed a team for my treatment, he's the Doctor and he's in charge, and I am the willing and informed patient.

I just wanted to post a note of gratitude for Dr. Chung and Prince William Urology in Gainesville VA. I was there last week for a particularly sensitive issue (at least to me) LOL. My first office visit to this practice was excellent! The office staff was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with Dr. Chung. I found him to be very nice and friendly; professional; a good listener and completely answered all of my questions; and thorough in explaining the details of the illness and options of treatment. I am extremely pleased to have Dr. Chung as my urologist!

Interesting to read the reviews on this site concerning the office staff. I too am not happy about his staff. I have questions to ask concerning a procedure Dr Chung recommended and was told to talk with a nurse. I have left 2 messages and never received a return call. Dr Chung called me to discuss something, and he said he was sending an email to so and so in his office to call me and it has been weeks and no one has called. I like Dr Chung but thinking of going to a different urgologist

He performed my vasectomy in 10-15 minutes with very little pain. He knows what he is doing. Great doctor!
