Dr. Shah is a very caring professional doctor. He spends time evaluating my situation and makes me a part of the plan of treatment. Being very considerate of my input. His evaluation is very thorough and he is very conservative in his treatment. I am very fond of him and think he is what every medical professional should aspire to be.

Knowledgeable. Conservative and safe in long term management, and able to suggest appropriate clinical trials if applicable. It felt like we were working to make care decision together. He had obviously reviewed my chart and incorporated the history into our discussion. He is patient and kind with explanations, always making eye contact.

Comment: Referred to Dr B. Shah by my P/C and local Neurologist for further assessment/diagnosis of my tremor. Dr Shah reviewed my MRI, and current medication. He confirmed there is no PD. However prescribed medication for what he diagnosed, Orthostatic tremor. Dr Shah was proficient in his examination and was comforting having him evaluated my condition.

My recent semi-ann visit was very thorough, informative and compassionate. I have minimized all of my original PD symptoms and I left my 1-hour session with Dr Shah, who also reviewed recent PD trial results with me, highly motivated to stay I track with my physical routines, Senimet and more focused symptom-specific supplements, and up to date PD research. Dr Shah also supported my experimental use of an Oriental medicine, Zishenpingchan granules, which passed with flying colors a large, randomized, double-blind study in China with no apparent neg side effects. So. I continue with my motto: “I have PD but PD does not have me!”
