Dr Behm is wonderful. He saved my life I'm sure of it. You won't find a more thorough and caring doctor. He gave me hope when I had none and because of him I am in remission for all intents and purposes. Thank you Dr Behm!!

Dr. Behm is the best Digestive Disease Doctor I've had in my 18 years with Crohn's Disease. The most important factors for me are someone who takes the time to explain things thoroughly, listens to your input, searches for creative solutions, and has time. He excels at all these. Dr. Behm worked with me when my symptoms were at an all time low and got me into near remission after trying 3 different medications. Being associated with UVA, Dr. Behm is very in touch with the cutting edge medications that are coming out of trials. Sadly, I am moving away and have to leave his care, but I highly recommend him for patients with digestive disease.

Dr. Behm performed an Endoscopy and recommended a FODMAP diet for severe stomach problems that set off allergic reactions. This is the first time I a symptom free in over 20 years. I recommend Dr. Behm who is ahead of his peers in his field.

Arrogant physician that doesn't listen or care what patients think. All about his own agenda with a fake friendly air. Never returns any calls. Refuses to give scripts that will help you and insists on surgeries. $100,000 spent for nothing. Also dumps you on a nurse practioner who's incompetent.

I saw Dr. Behm for a period spanning over 2 years. When I was sick enough to require hospitalization he failed to provide both his professional skills and empathy for my situation when his intervention was requested. His lack of concern endangered my life as my diagnosis was severely delayed in being recognized. Buyer beware!!! Seek care elsewhere?!!!

A friend recommended Dr Behm and I could not have been more disappointed. He didn’t listen to me and therefore he made inappropriate recommendations. I had to wonder what on earth was this guy thinking!
