I was referred to her after another doctor at another hospital gave me a questionable diagnosis about a lump on my thyroid. I really like Dr. Eagleson. She explained everything to me and was very helpful. Would refer her to others.

I was switched to Dr. Eagleson when Dr. William Evans retired. While Evans was extremely knowledgeable about PCOS, caring & willing to answer questions, Eagleson comes across as unknowledgeable, uncaring & unhelpful. She answered 99% of my questions about PCOS, insulin resistance, & Metformin with "Doctors just don't know." Dr. Eagleson also made it very clear she was unwilling to treat the resulting infertility that comes with PCOS. UVA, please hire a more suitable replacement for Dr. Evans.

I was switched to Dr. Christine Eagleson when Dr. William Evans retired last year. Dr. Eagleson is the opposite of everything Dr. Evans was. While Evans was extremely knowledgeable about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), caring, supportive, and willing to answer your questions, Eagleson comes across as unknowledgeable, uncaring, and completely unhelpful. She answered 99% of my questions about PCOS, insulin resistance, and Metformin with "Doctors just don't know." Dr. Eagleson also made it very clear that (unlike Dr. Evans) she would not be willing to treat the resulting infertility that comes with PCOS. UVA Health System, please hire a more suitable replacement for Dr. Evans. Dr. Eagleson just doesn't cut it.

Only goes by blood tests, didn't even do the one that was high on me previously. Waited over an hour and she spent 5 minutes with me. Very disinterested in you when in room. One tube of blood and three tests now I owe UVA over $300 with no answers and no medication to help me.

She doesn't listen and only goes by blood test results instead of how you feel. If the blood tests are in the normal range, then she blows off your concerns. In addition, she does not offer any suggestions to help you. Instead, I had to research my own disease and suggest tests to her which came back as needing attention. I will be switching doctors.
