Dr. Hong prescribed birth control pills to correct abnormal menstral cycle when all tests came back normal. It has been a nightmare with non stop bleeding . Have been off the poison he prescribed for months and still bleeding.Went to ob gyn in Cville saw her 1 time and she goes out of town for 6 wks and her name is Dr. Latimer and still bleeding. Dr. Hong has ruined my summer. He is not a good doctor. As I have spent time seeking a good doctor to correct the damage he has caused. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Hong

He doesn't listen or run any test. I went there very sick in an adrenal crisis. He told me I was healthy and ignored all of my abnormal test. I expected help I had to wait months to get an appointment. He was a waste of time. I have Addison's disease it is deadly without treatment.

Hedges in decision making. Said I was healthy young man to go live my life. Had nurse call me to say I was in pituitary failure. Wanted to treat me over the phone. Sitting here last 3 months on the couch incapicitated and nothing. Horrible.

He has the required knowledge and communication skills which are the most important two things for a patient. He is not one the doctors who is going to make a diagnosis in 5 minutes without understanding what really is going on in your body. He listens to his patient carefully and he was the one who could see the pathology in my body after 4 years of non-conclusive doctor visits. I wish every endocrinologist had his knowledge and evaluation skills. If you need an endocrinologist and you can see him, just do it...
