List of Janet Elaine Lewis's Reviews
Dr. Lewis listens. She has researched some treatments that I asked about, but were not covered by insurance, and though she could not advocate for them, she handed me articles about them. I was a medicine holdout, and she was patient with that. I admire and understand her position, and will always be grateful for the kind way she listened.
Excellent doctor. Her interns are as well. Highly recommended.
I've been a patient for many many years. She is a great doctor.
I disagree with the previous review. She looked at my blood work (RF but not textbook RA results), examined my hands and said yep, that's synovitis. Did Xrays of my feet, called to discuss the cause of pain was probably/hopefully from inflammation and not totally from the erosion (yea!). Starting working on a plan to manage the RA and possible pregnancy. Her bedside manner is a little dry, you gotta be quick and get your questions in, its is a busy department. She will answer you promptly without sugar coating it. She is very professional. She answers questions from MyChart fairly quickly (she knows when you need time to think medications and lifestyle changes as a result of RA).
I went to see her because I had pain in various parts of my body. She could not figure out how to address the problem. I do not recommend this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
