After seeing Dr. Pinkerton for 5 years, my mother tired of waiting 30 minutes or more for her appointments and walked out. After being advised that she would have to wait 90 minutes beyond her scheduled time and after driving more than an hour to see her, my mother said her time was worth something, too. In those 5 years, she found her to be "satisfactory" at best and lacking in communicating with other doctors regarding my mother's exam and test results.

I have been seeing Dr. Pinkerton for 20 years. She is kind, sensitive to patients' needs & fears, & very knowledgeable in her field. She even calls me evenings with results of some of my tests to discuss them with me. I travel 2 hrs each way to see her & I would not see anyone else! The reason why the wait is sometimes longer than usual is because she spends all the time the patient needs during the appointment. I don't mind waiting, because she does the same for everyone.

Dr. Pinkerton is a great listener, provides knowledge and expertise when diagnosing, is caring, professional, and thoughtful. She works tirelessly to diagnose and get the patient the appropriate care. I would highly recommend her to any woman; I trust her judgment completely.

"Dr. Pink" and her staff are terrific with all the patients with whom I saw them interact. I have had only one visit in their clinic, but I am looking forward to having my GYN needs met there for the next 30 years or however long I have left! They are the best and met my expectations on every level. This has been true through all my experiences with UVA Health, by the way.
