Kimberley L Bauman's Online Review Report Card

As others have commented, Dr. Bauman always seems unfamiliar with me though I have seen her for years. I was without insurance for a time—when I left my employer to go back to graduate school—& when I tried to re-establish care with Dr. Bauman her office was LESS than supportive. They noted it had been a long time since I’d seen her & said I could not have Dr. B as my PCP if I was going to disappear again (?!) They essentially wanted me to contract with them that I would receive care from her indefinitely. It was very odd. Most recently, the practice—& even Dr. Bauman herself—left multiple voice messages telling me to call them back, that I was in arrears & was going to be dismissed as a patient & put into collections. I checked my records, sure that I had paid my bill from them. I had a $9 balance—which I was unaware of. It turns out the very routine “treatment” the nurse had provided to help remove ear wax (in ONE ear) had cost $113. I’m not sure how or why they can charge over $100 for a nurse to put hydrogen peroxide in one ear with a syringe & then “suction” it out with a turkey baster, but they did. The women who answer the phone at this practice are incredibly rude—whether you’re at the other end of the call or standing right in front of them at the office. I would encourage people to consider these things if planning to seek care with this provider.

I find it hard to believe that anyone that has visited Dr Bauman would give her less than 5 stars. She is very attentive, spent a lot of time with me, was through, and very pleasant. She even personally took my history (usually this is done by a nurse). That means that I know she has a real history when she is treating me. So impressive she would spend that time. Yes, she had to type into her computer. That's the way medicine works now. I can't believe people complain about this. How else can a doctor take a detailed history and remember it? The days of dictation are over. She makes sure to record everything so that she has great notes about the visit. I will recommend Dr Bauman, she is great. It does take a long time to get your first appointment, but that probably because she is good and in demand. All the staff I interacted with was great too!

She spent the entire visit writing/ typing in the chart. I? needed referrals and had to find them for myself as the one or two she gave me did not treat my condition. Office staff was pleasant but not impressed.

I would not recommend this physician for multiple reasons. She has very poor bedside manner and is hyper focused on completing her charting during the exam. You will spend the majority of the visit talking to the back of her head as she types. She appears disinterested and also unfamiliar with my medical history despite seeing her for years. I would have given zero stars if I was able. Super unfriendly and consistently codes/bills incorrectly. Would not recommend!

Dr. Bauman is the Greatest. She has been my physician for 22 years and there is no one better.

Always helpful. Listens well. Advocates for her patients.

Good Doctor, friendly, kind, sincere, good staff. you can get in and out of her office fast.

I too always recommend Dr. Bauman when a friend asks for my recommendation. She has never disappointed me or those I have referred to her.

Whenever a medical professional asks about my primary care physician, I tell them I see Dr. Bauman. The response is ALWAYS, "Oh, she's good!" I feel the same way, and I highly recommend Dr. Bauman!
