List of Massoud Saberinia's Reviews
Dr. Saberinia is probably the most unprofessional, lazy, trash doctor I have ever experienced so far. I had to go through several doctors before I got to Dr. Saberinia including my PCP, 2 urologists and another physician mistakenly listed as an endocrinologist who referred me to him. First time I met him for my condition he refers me to take a third blood test that was unnecessary, and requested I use quest diagnostics instead of labcorp because he felt like it was "more accurate" which it wasn't it just cost more. At this point I had already done my due diligence and taken so many tests and had so many appointments all my deductibles were already met. He then told me I needed an MRI told me it would be covered by my insurance as my deductible had been met by my previous tests after I explained to him I just didn't have the money to pay for any more exams. To my surprise he didn't know what he was talking about not only did I end up with an over 500 dollar bill, I had to drop calculus 2 for missing my first two classes because of doctors appointments because of him and I missed more thereafter because i had TO GET a second opinion on supplemental medication from a fertility specialist because he didn't want to prescribe it because "IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE TO HIM". Fortunately I was able to drop the class with out loss of grade but they would not refund me unless I received a note from my diagnosing doctor. He said he would write it but he wouldn't essentially say the MRI cause me to miss class or the appointment. WHICH IT DID. I HAD NIGHT CLASSES AND ZERO PTO AFTER ALL OF THESE APPOINTMENTS WHAT DID HE EXPECT. He never wrote a note to this day he completely lied. My PCP wanted to initially treat me for this condition but I wanted an actual Endocrinologist to look at it. I completely regret seeing him I could have saved 1400 dollars just sticking with my PCP and going that route. now I have transferred all of my medication back to my PCP and dumped this lazy excuse of a Doctor. Dr. Saberinia let me explain something to you. YOU DO NOT WORK FOR A HOSPITAL OR YOURSELF YOUR WORK FOR YOUR PATIENTS. OUR CARE COMES BEFORE YOUR COMFORT, AND YOUR UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE, LAZINESS AND LACK OF LISTENING/UNDERSTANDING SHOULD NOT BE AT THE COST OF MY BANK ACCOUNT.
Waited 4 months for appt and got there and they said they couldn't take me, they had wrong insurance not sure how, it was first thing I do is make sure they accept my insurance. They dismissed me, now i have to find a new dr and I'm out of medicine. These Dr offices need to treat people like people not a number. Next!
While Dr. Saberinia is quite pleasant, he has the unfortunate problem of having a highly combative and belligerant staff. They will cut off prescriptions if life intrudes and you are unable to make it to an appointment for a few months. They will randomly bill you and even add processing charges for any "outstanding charges" even if they are improper. It is useless dealing with them as they are very immature and unprofessional. They do not understand they work in a doctor's office, and these are patients. This isn't the DMV where they can bark like rabid junkyard dogs at anyone they please. While you might be reading this and say, they have been fine to me... watch your back the moment an issue arises, as they always feel like they are quite agitated to break their routine to help a patient in need. Definitely avoid the practice if you have immature belligerants.
I have used Dr. Saberenia for years and find him very kind and caring and knowledgeable. I’ve had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I read the comments above about the office staff, but I personally had no problems. Regarding one person’s comment of charging $35 for a no-show fee, that’s actually cheap. I’ve had to cancel doctors appointments before and if you do it in advance rather than just not showing up, they usually do not charge.
I look forward to my appointments with Dr Saberinia. He is both professionaly and personally a pleasuure to have as a doctor. I am very pleaed to have discovered him.
If I could give this doctors office zero ratings I would. I have had a horrible experience with the staff here. I assigned this doctor for my father months ago due to word of mouth and good ratings but I am not realizing that was a mistake. The office manager, Ms. Feri was extremely rude to my mother when she was asking and discussing a billing concern. She had the audacity to mock what my mother was saying in a rhetorical rude manner. She continued to treat my mother with disrespect and responded with "I don't need to talk about this with you right now" and put her on a hold, a purposeful long hold in aims to be negligent to her concern. This was the rudest doctors experience I have ever come across. The doctor and his staff offered no solution or reparation for this experience. Once this experience was relayed to the doctor his statement was "well I dont have anything to do with the office staff". How???? that is your staff, keep them in line with costumer etiquette. Absolutely rude. Lastly, this is the only doctors office I have ever come across that charges $15 for a patient statement. Everything about this doctors office is horrid and I will be finding my father a new endocrinologist. There are certainly much much better and professional endocrinologists in the DMV area ! Stay away for your sake of sanity and peace.
I really like Dr. Saberinia. He is kind and caring. I love how he is with you through the whole process (weighs you, takes blood pressure) he doesn't have someone else do it for him. It helps create a special connection with his patients. He has excellent bedside manner. I wish however he was open to natural treatments or medicines especially if the patient was so inclined to pursue that avenue. Awesome dr!
Very thourgh diagnosis of my thyroid condition.
I travel from my home in Luray (two hours) to see Dr. Saberinia because I have such great confidence in his medical opinion and advice. I highly recommend him to everyone I know. Thanks Dr. Saberinia.
The best, I wouldn't any where else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
