THE Receptionist or medical biller and coder "LAUREN" Is the most disrespectful and unprofessional person I have ever met. I had an appointment on 11/1/2022 at 11:30 Am. I got in there let say at 11:15. she immediately had an attitude Toward me , stating the following in an unpleasant tone . "did you fill out the paper work'" "you need to fill them out in 10 minutes" "Can you comeback today" I just got in the office as a new patient and I am met with this type of human being? I am baffled and confused. I told her no , I can not come Back today, She does not know my commute .But she assumed that I can come back the same day at a later time. Mind you I am not late to my appointment. when ever I ask her any question she was blatantly discussed by me. I do not think rude unprofessional personal like "Lauren " should be at a forefront of a business. My First Name is Rose

Love Dr Ghafouri!!! He listens and excellent bedside manner. Current on best practices involving the Rheumatology illness. I would definitely recommend!

Not a friendly environment

I have seen Dr. Ghafouri once and so far, and I am not very impressed with the office staff communication and lack of ease to make appointments, nor the "rushed" feeling with Dr. Ghafouri not seeming to listen or appear engaged to me the patient. I also requested my results be sent to both myself and my PCP and nothing was ever received. The wait time for appointments is also crazy, and I did not appreciate being disputed when I waited for a telemedicine appointment's prompt which was not received until well after the call.

I have been his patient for more than 5 years now. Dr. Ghafouri is knowledgeable, skilled, and caring for his patients. The staff are super nice, and willing to help. I am getting monthly infusions in his office and the nurses in this center work very hard, and have a good sense of humor. Dr Ghafouri's medical assistant has also been effective by responding to all my requests and messages in time. I highly recommend Dr. Ghafouri and his team.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ghafouri's for almost 16 years now. Dr. Ghafouri is an excellent doctor who listens to his patients, pays great attention to detail and works diligently to find a diagnosis and solution. Years ago, when I was first diagnosed, I attribute Dr. Ghafouri for saving my life. At the time, I was a young, scared 22 year old who was incredibly sick and confused about what was going on and I didn't want to believe how sick I really was. Dr. Ghafouri was persistent and told me things about my health that was very hard to hear, but his dedication to me as his patient helped get me on the right track to feeling better. I have continued to see him throughout the years. He has helped calm my anxiety through flare ups, two high risk pregnancies and a multitude of other things. I am SO thankful to have him as my doctor. In regards to his office staff, I have always been approached with kindness. They have been patient with me rescheduling appointments and also forwarding questions I might have for Dr. Ghafouri. They are super organized and efficient with the check in/check out process. Yes, there can be a wait in his office, but I have yet to visit a highly regarded Specialist's office that does not have a wait. He also has office staff that have been employed at his practice for years, which says alot due to high turnover that can happen in medical offices. One of the main office staff, Nicole, who also handles billing, has been in the office for 16 years! She is just as amazing and awesome as Dr. Ghafouri. Overall, I love Dr. Ghafouri and his practice. I have recommended Dr. Ghafouri numerous times to friends and colleagues who are looking for a Rheumatologist. If you are looking for a Rheumatologist that is highly regarded in the field and dedicated to his patients, you should consider Dr. Ghafouri and his practice. Everyone should be so lucky to have a doctor as dedicated as him.

Poorly run office that rarely answers the phone so their voice mail stays full. My prescription still hasn't made it to the pharmacy 24 hours later. Dr. Ghafouri does not listen to the patient and has zero personality. If only there were more options in Manassas...

I've been a patient of Doctor Ghafouri for about 11 years now. I was referred to him years ago due to the sudden onset of severe rheumatoid arthritis. Since then I've seen him every three months and I've seen his infusion nurses every 7-8 weeks. I've always found the staff to be friendly, upbeat, and professional. The office does a good job of reminding me of upcoming appointments. Doctor Ghafouri has always seemed determined to provide treatment of my RA to allow me to live a normal life, and for that I am highly appreciative.

Dr. Ghafouri has been my saving grace. After seeing many doctors over the years with chronic pain I finally found a Dr who cares and goes the extra mile to research and bring me relief and finally diagnose me. Dr. G has been caring for me now for almost 15+ years and I wouldn’t stay with this practice if I didn’t believe I was getting the care I deserve. Big bonus: He opened up an infusion suite which is state of the art and very convenient for us. You don’t feel like a number but rather very much cared about. The other Dr.’s in the practice are all very good as well. And I can’t say enough about the infusion nurses and how wonderful they take care of us. The back office staff has been incredible as well. If you are looking for w good Rheumatologist, I highly recommend Dr. G and staff.
