List of Paul B Ramilo's Reviews
I saw him for Lyme disease. Not very helpful, never followed up but did not forget to bill
My regular Dr was out of town and so i needed to schedule an appt. with Dr Ramilo. From the reviews below little nervous about my appt. He was terrific, Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in ability to give me expert medical care. very impressed w. the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend. He was absolutely professional and kind.
I've been a patient of Dr. Ramilo's for 13 years and have received extraordinary medical care from him each and every visit! He's personable, patient, thorough, and genuinely concerned about my health and well being. 5 Stars and no complaints for Dr. Ramilo!
Tuesday the 3rd I went to a infectious disease specialist that someone referred me to, I don’t really know if they knew them. I was diagnosed with a Tick borne illness and I was referred by Kathy’s (my sister) Primary physician. I was nervous about going because in the past I have had so many problems getting diagnosed properly for my illness. On numerous occasions I had nurses friends to my symptoms and tell me I had lymes disease. When I got to the office I filled out my paperwork and I was waiting in the room for the doctor which was Dr. Ramilo of 3700 Sedgwick Drive Fairfax VA. As soon as he sat down I noticed something odd, he turned his side to me and wouldn’t look at me. He laid his arm on then put his head on his arm.counter He started looking up in the air and he asked me a couple questions and then when I started answering immediately he started rolling his eyes and moving his hand in a awkward way as though he was annoyed. He kept shifting his body like he was annoyed, he continued to do this shifting of his weight trying to make it evident he didn’t want to hear me. He moved his hand in that blah blah blah hand motion. So then he turns to me and says, “look there’s nothing I can do for you”. I said excuse me? Yes! I said there’s nothing I can do for you, you got your medicine and there’s nothing else we can do. He was totally rude with me and he treated me with total disrespect. He opened the door and pointed the way out. Needless to say I left his office in tears.

My wife had the most horrible experience with this physician. She had high hopes but after the appointment she called me crying because he was rude and cruel and heartless to anyone's situation. He obviously is there for the money only and does not care about people. The appointment lasted 10 minutes for something that needed attention. Please read the real reviews that describe him as rude and unfriendly. Any others have to be from his office trying to build him back up.
This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a physician. Dr. Ramilo already had my information about my case in hand and yet when I visited his office he abruptly told me he could not help me. I was under the impression that he was going to do more tests and yet he refused to help me at all. This is the exact account of what happened: He walked into the room we exchanged greetings and immediately he ask what was the issue but he already apparently was informed because he refused to make eye contact and while I was speaking he rolled his eyes and wrist and if he was saying blah blah. After I spoke he said you received antibiotics? I said yes but I am still very sick. He stated there is nothing I can do for you and in the process of relying this he was belittling and rude. He was called from the room and when he returned and I tearfully stated I guess since you cant help I will leave and he opened the door and pointed the way out. He was hateful, rude and arrogant.
Worst experience I have ever had, anyone that gives him a five has to be a friend. He belittled me and was rude and arrogant. I left the room sobbing! Please do not go to this doctor!
I was in the hospital with a staph infection which went into my spine. I didn’t respond to the generic antibiotic and Dr. Ramilo advocated personally on my behalf with the insurance company. He got me on a new antibiotic which he had good experience in trials. I don’t know how things would have gone if Dr. Ramilo hadn’t stepped in, and I’m glad I never found out.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
