Pearl L Yu's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Yu is an amazing Doctor in her field. She is by far the best physician my son has seen over his years. She goes over each patient with a fine tooth comb. We have seen her for 4 years and was just released as my son has out grown his asthma.

Rushed! Didn't listen and quickly jumped to her own conclusions without even speaking or looking at my child. Then a short lookover. Does not respond in detail or have a follow up evaluation after sleep study! Very hard to deal with. NOT recommended!!

She was absolutely amazing!!! Very detailed! She asked awesome questions! I loved how she approached things with my son! She explained his responsibilities for healthy sleep habits and walked us through all of her thoughts on how to help him! I loved how she explains things!! Can’t say enough great things about her and her team!

Well, I really tried a few times. During our first visit, she tried to teach me how to raise my child. In addition, she is rude and disrespectful. We are going to change our pulmonologist. Maybe she is a good doctor but her communication skills are terrible.

We just met with Dr Yu. we have never done a tel a medicine appointment, it was so easy.... let me tell you she complimented my son so many times. She formulated a plan, told him his responsibility and explained to my son why sleep is important to his health. She answered so many questions and put my son at ease....

We are so happy to have found Dr. Yu! She took a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions (and we had a lot!). Her nurse and staff were terrific! Our son is doing so much better. Be ready to be asked a lot of questions. We appreciated this but maybe those who did not like this wrote the less than stellar reviews? We can’t understand the people who did not rate her highly. We think she is wonderful and one of the best we have worked with.

Dr. Yu saved my daughter’s life. She is thoughtful and takes so much time with us every time we come back. We are grateful for all that she has done for our family.

Bring your child to Dr. Yu. She and her team took so much time with us. My son is now able to participate in activities without coughing or having to stop because he can't breathe and he is not getting as sick as often as he used. I have taken my son to many different doctors before I found Dr. Yu. She is beyond excellent!

So unsatisfied with this doctor and her misdiagnosis. My child has had sleep issues since she was a toddler. We had a sleep study performed in 2017 that cost over $2,000 with a crappy diagnosis and a kid that still suffers from her parasomnias. This doctor is a joke and she’s not willing to call her clients that live 2 hours away! Only way to leave a review was to click a star. I wish I didn’t have to because she’s that bad!

I do not recommend Dr. Yu. She seems cold/insensitive & extremely rude/disrespectful. She literally yelled at my husband & I many times. She was asking us questions & when we tried to answer we'd only get a few words out before she would interrupt us by yelling "STOP!" at us very rudely, so her or her nurse could write/type what we were saying, & she did it over & over. A nurse at another office warned us about her personality before we went & said most people won't go back after the 1st visit.
