List of Steven Mark Powell's Reviews
Dr. Steven Mark Powell is a good doctor and a sincerely nice person. He is passionate about his profession. I have been his gastroenterology patient with his care for nearly 10 years and I have been satisfied with his care during that time. He is convinced that colonoscopies are the standard of care for testing with a family history, and is willing to entertain my thoughts and concerns wherever my questions take me. He is willing to work with me, so that I can visually watch the procedure, with medication only as needed. I can see polyps being removed! That picture is worth a thousand words! We have had several phone conversations. His nurse is especially helpful. His endoscopy team is always professional! I am grateful for his knowledge and skill. I have recommended him to my family, one of whom has accessed his care.
I had Dr.Powell for my colonoscopy on July 5, 2017. Dr Powell had a great bedside manor and made me feel very confident and at ease.
I have sufferer with GERD and IBS for nearly two decades and every doctor in the past just treated the symptoms as they progressively have gotten worst over the years. Dr. Powell blew me away with his knowledge of my problem and has amazed me with his constant resolve and persistence to find the source of my problem so that it can be alleviated.
Doesn't care about your health, doesn't know what he's talking about. AVOID.
After waiting almost 3 months to be able to schedule an appointment with this specialist, and promised by the scheduler that I would have a 45 minute appointment with the doctor, the doctor gave me 2.5 minutes of his time (I timed him) He did not ask me one question, did not listen, did not offer any helpful advice other than what I was already doing that was no longer working. Do not go see this person, he was uncaring, pompous, rude, arrogant.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
