Dr. Lurie was the absolute worst doctor I have ever been to I would never recommend her. She was completely uninterested in our appointment and spent approximately three minutes in the room with me. She never asked me if I had any concerns and I had to stop her from leaving the appointment to get some questions in. She also barely examined me, made assumptions about my life and lifestyle, and didn’t give any importance to my concerns. I wouldn’t even consider what dr. Lurie told me as medical advice or attention as I could’ve gotten the same type of responses and treatment from someone with no medical education. I have never left a doctors appointment feeling so unheard and uncared for. Her staff lacked professionalism and organization. Dr. Lurie failed to communicate to me the exams she would later ask of me and lost my samples. I genuinely question how dr. Lurie has a medical degree at all. Do not waste your time and money with dr. Lurie as she is lazy and inattentive.

Dr. Laurie is my PCP and I find her thorough, engaged, and informative. She took the time to discuss particular questions with me and explain hormone levels and neurotransmitter activity. She’s not “southern sweet,” for sure, but that’s what I like about her - she’s straight-forward, very competent and assured, and attentive. She also has a great sense of humor! She discussed both diagnostic and medical health questions and lifestyle with me. I recommend her.

I have found Dr. Laurie to be unhelpful and lazy. I do not believe that she has kept up with advances in medicine throughout her career. She is unavailable to answer questions except through MyChart to which I do not subscribe. She failed to tell me that I had a liver condition found on advanced imaging by a radiologist. Avoid her at all costs.

Absolutely superb! Excellent listener, knowledgeable, and incredibly compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Laurie.

As a doctor myself who has seen Dr. Laurie for medical care, I would advise you go elsewhere. Based on the reviews and my own experience, she likes to push antidepressants. I've never been depressed a day in my life (until I started seeing her) but was going thru a stressful period yet she was adamant. She really doesn't listen. When she repeats things back to you in follow up appointments, it's a skewed interpretation of what you told her. She definitely makes assumptions about your personal life without really asking. On top of it all, she is not at all friendly or someone you feel you can trust. My overall physical and mental health declined after seeing this doctor. I really wish doctors who have been practicing for as long as she has would just retire. It's clear their level of interest in compassionate patient care greatly diminishes with time. Overall seems aloof and not interested. Truly wish I would have trusted my instincts and switched doctors sooner.
