O'Connell did my colonoscopy during a busy time at the local hospital. Very concerned for my symptoms i was relieved to be told she saw no issues. Feeling relieved i called the office to follow up for further help and found out that O'Connell had found polyps and had not told me when i saw her. She was just too busy to have a conversation with me and actually give me truthful results. I needed to have this info and if i had not followed up i would not have known that i was needing to wait for biopsy results. She also was suppose to look for a fistula during the procedure and she gave me a false report. We have to depend on our doctors to give correct info if we are to be able to do the right thing. She was not trustworthy or honest. Will never go to her again.

This is a corrected review as Dr. O'Connell did call me at home to discuss my colonoscopy experience. Dr. O'Connell is technically a 4-5 star doctor. My issue was with her response after the surgery. She was rushed due to the large number of colonoscopies and it showed. It appears many others had a much better experience than I. I can only base answers on my own experience.
