"Dr" Hosick was supposed to repair my ACL. During surgery his anesthesiologist missed my spine 10 times and had to call in someone else to do the spinal. It didn't work properly and I was in agony during the entire surgery while still awake. he put a tourniquet on my leg which I had to beg to have them remove. Subsequent to the surgery I had a blood clot that put me in the hospital for 5 weeks. I have had nothing but problems since. And he didn't even fix my ACL. I actually had to get another doctor. I would recommend staying far away from this doctor.

Been going to Dr. Hosick for many, many years for knee surgeries and double knee replacement. I have tried other doctors, but he is the most skilled.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hosick for a while now and I’ve had nothing but positive and very professional experiences with him and his staff. One of the professional traits I admire most about Dr. Hosick is that he’s a no nonsense tell it like it is doctor who won’t sugarcoat anything and tells you honestly what is the best remedy or options for the condition you are being seen for.

When I finally had to have surgery for an old injury I met with three different surgeons. Dr. Hosick was the only one who wanted X-rays as well as the MRI disk. He also was the only one who gave me a straight forward expectation of final results and recovery time. I chose him to do the surgery and he exceeded his own predictions regarding final outcome. I returned to him a couple years later when my PCP suggested I see an orthopedic for unremitting pain in my thumb/wrist which didn't improve with steroids and topical treatments. Dr Hosick knew as soon as he felt my hand that I had arthritis in my thumb. We confirmed with an X-ray. We discussed surgery but he honestly informed me that it would be a very lengthy recovery and not in my best interests at the time. He gave me a script for an topical anti-inflammatory which has done well controlling the pain. I trust him to be honest and straight forward re surgery and/or alternative options.

I saw him to ask for an MRI. I was afraid I had torn my ACL after my knee gave out upon impact in a soccer game. He said, "You'd be in way more pain. Don't waste money on an MRI when the problem is you're not strong enough. Go play soccer this weekend; you'll be fine!" I focused on strength that whole winter. While my knee gave out less, it was still an issue. I saw another surgeon who did let me get an MRI. Turns out it was a completely torn ACL. If Dr. Hosick took me seriously, I would be fully recovered 9 months sooner.

After being misinformed on insurance medication coverage by Dr Hosick during office visit, costing me the full cost of visit and injection out of my pocket in December 2015, I became disappointed and disillusioned by this practice. I will not recommend this practice to any of my family and friends.

Dr. Hosick performed a total left hip replacement on me on 7 November 2016. I was up in two hours and discharged by noon the next day. I stopped taking the pain medications early and did all recommended PT exercises. I am recovered completely from the surgery. Dr. Hosick did a marvelous job. He explained the entire process, answered my every question plainly and simply, and patiently listened to any and all of my comments. A superb surgeon. I plan on having him do my right knee replacement soon.

Dr Hosick performed my frontal total hip replacement. I was so totally please. Hardly a scar. EXCELLENT care.

I don't feel he applied good judgement in my situation. As a result, I'm stuck with paying for a brace that is of no use. I was told that once I tried it on, I owned it. This left me with only my doctor's advice to make a decision. The doctor should have used the information available to suggest it would not be in my best interest. My pain was only moderate and occasional and the it wouldn't restrict half movement causing the pain. He could have saved me money and earned trust.
