We went to Dr. Weidner for pain and some swelling in my wife's knee in November 2021. Based on X-ray image he diagnosed a minor arthritis and he gave a steroid injection for pain. We went to Dr. Weidner again a few times and even suggested an MRI scan, but in his opinion nothing else needed to be done at the time besides PT. However, the pain never went away, and in finally March 2022 he ordered an MRI for the knee. The MRI report stated a meniscus tear, however Dr. Weidner's view is that MRI images indicate a severe arthritis that requires a full knee replacement surgery. We have have our doubts on reasons why his assessment changed so drastically in just four months. It is possible that MRI images show the actual extent of arthritis, which is perhaps far worse than what original X-ray indicated, but at a minimum he should have ordered an MRI scan back then to make a sound determination. A surgery seems more lucrative from a physician's perspective. We are looking to get more opinions about the issue before deciding to proceed.

During the summer of 2021, Dr. Weidner conducted a total hip replacement on me using the direct anterior approach. The one night pain free hospital stay and the pain free rapid recovery I have experienced over the past four months enhanced my pre-surgical opinion of Dr. Weidner as a highly competent, experienced, professional surgeon. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone needing his expertise.

Dr. Weidner is an excellent physician and surgeon. He had recently replaced my hip and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He’s a wonderful person and treats you like your his only patient, never rushes. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Weidner was excellent! He was very personable and truly listened to my concerns. He was very knowledgeable along the way, I felt comfortable the entire time. He worked miracles during my surgery. 3 months later fully recovered (ACL replacement meniscus tear) I’m running, biking, sitting Indian style, and completely forgot I ever had surgery. Dr Weidner is the GOAT!!!

Best experience ever! Dr Wienner was great! Only two months out from total knee replacement and I am doing wonderful. Every concern I had over the surgery was addressed and his office made my experience great. I will have other knee replaced and would not think of having anybody else do it.
