Alesia Griffin's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Griffin is hands down the best primary care doctor you can get. She spends as much time as needed with all of her patients, so expect a long wait for her, but know that when she walks into your room, you will get her undivided, thorough, and meticulous attention. I have had specialists call me a "medical enigma" and say I couldn't be helped, but Dr. Griffin wouldn't give up trying all angles and specialties until answers were found. She is a true holistic doctor, looking at you as a whole (body, soul, and mind), and spending enough time to care for each part of you.

I wanted to like this place so bad, but with the hour and a half wait, unhelpful staff, and mistakes regarding my serious injuries, I wouldn’t recommend..

Dr. Griffen is the best doctor I have ever known in 62 years. If I was extremely wealthy, I would hire for a personal doctor, and she would be paid her worth in Gold. She listens, takes her time, I have left her office as late as 8 pm, working on my medical issues. I and I am sure all her patients feel the same. She should be recognized among her peers, the best doctor around. I have read the negative reviews, and every single complaint, is far from truth, I wish I could personally tell them, go to an urgent care, you will have your pick of doctors, and false information is not cool.

Great doctor but poor service. No one ever answers the phone. I called everyday for three weeks trying to get appointment with her. I leave multiple voicemails and no one ever calls me back. Trying to contact anyone to follow up is so hard. You have to physically go to the office to speak to anyone or to get anything done.

I've been a patient of Dr. Griffin's for over 20 years. She's extremely professional, thorough, empathetic, and she's extremely knowledgeable. Even though she's professional, she also makes you feel like family. Her wait time in the office may be a little long, but that is because she takes her time with all of her patients. She doesn't rush you out. She makes sure she hears your concerns, and makes sure that you understand your diagnosis fully and what the game plan is. She actually cares, and treats you like an individual, not just "another patient". We need more doctors like her! Her Physician Assistant, Ashley is amazing as well, and so is the rest of her staff!

Dr. Griffin is very professional and she's makes you comfortable to talk to her without judgment. I've been going to Dr. G. for over two decades. She shows compassion and does not lack empathy. I've referred my entire family to her, as well as friends and co-workers. They all have nothing but good things to say about her, and praises how caring and professional she is. If you're looking for a family physician who is professional, compassionate, and has great "bedside manners" in the Hampton Roads area, Dr. G. is the doctor to see!

My mother has been going to this woman for years. My mom , and my family, has been going through ALOT lately so it’s been running her anxiety up so she has been trying to validate and get a second opinion from her when she had to get work done at other facilities and this doctor RUDLEY asked “why are you calling me?” And told her “this is harassment because she was trying to get her kids to school” WHICH HAS NOTHING to do with my mom’s health. So my sister gets on the phone to talk to her instead Because my mom was getting upset, rightfully so. And she hangs up on my sister. I know everyone has stuff going on but that is extremely unprofessional and i will not tolerate someone doing my mother like that. She needs to understand that, just like she is someones mother, she was talking to ours very rudely! get it together. Show some kindness. Your health will take a turn at some point and I would hope your healthcare provider would show you some grace Dr. Griffin, since for whatever reason, that was so hard for you to do that day! My mother has no idea I did this but I don’t play about her just like I’m sure you don’t when it comes to yours. Remember these people you are helping, are not alone and they mean the WORLD to someone else.

This Drs Office listens! Period the End. They answer any question you may have. Ashley is Awesome. Dr Griffin is Awesome. You are going to wait at any Doctors Office so I’m not going to judge her on that. The help from the staff that I have received that answers the phones is great. Now when it comes to someone calling you back yes I had to wait on that but overall I think Dr Griffin is doing her best to make everyone Happy and comfortable. Keep up that great work. The Goldens..
