Overall a good visit, but not much warmth. Very straight forward, which is fine, but also need a bit of empathy. I expected that on the first visit, doctor would ask a few personal questions like, "I see you are a teacher. How was this school year for you?"

My mother was seen by Dr. Samantha Brand for a prescription refill and a leg wound. She took a look at the leg wound and called in an antibiotic. My mother took the antibiotic but afterwards it still looked infected. She called the doctor's office twice for a refill and not once did they say come back in. No refill was called into the pharmacy and no call for my mother to come back in. On Monday, April 20 we went to the Urgent Care on Mount Pleasant. They actually took a culture of the infected leg, gave her an antibiotic injection and called in an antibiotic and antibiotic cream. They will call with the results within 72 hours. Her first appointment with Dr. Brand was a forgettable one and she won't go back.
