Dr. Patel is absolutely amazing! For so long I have been having trouble finding a doctor who actually cares and listens to my concerns. 10/10 recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician! :)

I have been coming to this practice for a few years. I decided to stick with Dr Patel after they transitioned from Bon Secours to Chesapeake. I have had good and not so great experiences. To start with a new PCP is just too much work and good luck finding one that is accepting new patients. I feel comfortable with the staff and know the provider well. I also understand the business side of it. In today's primary care world you get 5-10 minutes face to face time tops. The providers are forced to meet productivity in order to receive any sort of compensation. I don't blame the physicians. I blame the system (government) for paving the way for this inadequate system of patient care. So for me to keep bouncing from provider to provider is a complete waste of time. Unless I am lucky to afford concierge medicine.

She come in the room for 2 minutes. And will send you home when you have a blood pressure 165/130. But quickly to take your money. And want give you a chance to tell what's going on. But I love her nurse she seems to care more.

I respect her more.my last primary Dr could learn from her,she ask questions about me to understand me.her nurses are great also.I like Jasmine she is caring and smart thoughtful. Now that she is with Chesapeake Regional Hospital I love her even More Thanks Dr Patel

Dr. Patel is a great doctor. She takes time to explain things thoroughly. She calls you directly with test results. But her staff, specifically Nicole at the reception desk, is rude and uncaring. The negativity is palpable. Because of that, I choose to find another practice.

Awful. She did not complete my medical report for DMV correctly or timely. Furthermore, mixing my record up with another patients information getting my license suspended. I requested to get this corrected to no avail. Yes I have the paperwork to prove it and the nurse signed off stating a mistake was made. I can't go into detail due to confidentiality. However, I am making a formal complaint with Chesapeake Regional and the Medical Board. This is also a HIPPA issue. The office manager or Dr. Patel has yet to reach out to me. I am very disappointed in the practice being I have been a patient for 3 years. I wasn't sure Dr. Patel knew but since she removed the google review I'm sure she's aware of the error now!!

Irresponsible and incoherent practice

minutes ago I am furious with this practice. Especially the ladies at the front desk. Dr. Patel has been my doctor for 3 years and since being bought out by Chesapeake Regional it's been a mess. First let's start with Katherine at the front desk, very rude lady who doesn't mind having side conversation about you while you're there. The other red head there who is at the front desk is very nice nasty, she will wait to talk about you after you've left the office. The nurse Jasmine, I thought was nice but she's just as sneaky as they are and very unprofessional too. On 12/11/19, I took paperwork in to be completed to be faxed to the DMV because I have Epilepsy well you guessed it. It was not done. Then when I received the letter from DMV stating my license was going to be suspended if it was not completed; I went to the office showed them the paperwork. Per Katherine I was told they had been bought out buy Chesapeake Regional and the paperwork was lost but she apologized profusely. Awful
