List of Medexpress Urgent Care's Reviews
Attempted to walk in yesterday evening and was told they were done with walk-ins for the day but I could schedule a slot for the next morning so I did that. Made an appointment for 10 am the next day. I arrived 5 mins before my appointment and checked in. The building was full and due to my symptoms I asked if I could wait in my car and receive a phone call when they were ready for me. I called twice to make sure I hadn’t been skipped over or maybe they were calling the wrong number and both times they verified my phone number and assured me it would be “soon”. Finally after feeling miserable and waiting in the car for TWO HOURS with my husband and three children we decided to leave . I ended up being able to get an appointment worked in for the same day with my primary care.I do not understand the point of their “appointment system” if you still have high wait times with no expectation on when you’ll be seen. This place is a joke and I’ll never come back.
This is the absolute worst place to go. I’m writing this review in the waiting room that I have been In for the last 2 and a half hours. All I need is a DOT Physical and a pre employment drug screening. Not to mention that I have had to wait for the last 5 days because the only person that is able to do these (apparently) has be off. And it’s not like I can go somewhere else, because med express is the company that my potential employer uses exclusively. And, this and one other medexpress is the only ones within 100 miles that offers these. This is absolutely ridiculous and by far and away the worst experience in the medical profession that I have ever been through. And while I’m at it, let’s discuss the bedside manner or customer service of the staff. I was repeatedly hung up on while trying to determine when I could see someone, or make an appointment. Was also met with short and rude attitudes. Med express has a glaring issue of this is how it treats their customers\patients. I absolutely refuse to come to any of these places again.
The lady at the front desk was rude and strange. I asked her a few questions and all she said was” Ha-ah””Ha-ah”. “Ha-ah”. Honestly, idk why she was even employed by the medexpress. She acted like she was not willing to say a single word.
This is where my wife and I go when needed! excellent care and staff!
Good efficient service.
Stung 15x by yellow jackets , hives head to toe , breathing ok for the time being and was told they were at full capacity and I needed an appointment. Absolutely not acceptable. If I posted pictures you would be horrified that I was turned away. ...thankfully I got to the ER with no problems breathing. Community deserves better. Sad and disappointed.
(Before reading, please understand that my PA, C. Abrams, was wonderful. She was compassionate and patient with me. The nurse that got my vitals and soaked my hand in antiseptic was also wonderful. I cannot say the same for the two ladies at the front desk.) I was injured at work and I was taken here because it was close by. I had 2 size-able gashes on one of my fingers that required some stitches. I walked in and provided the receptionist with my wallet so she could get my ID and insurance card (I was using both hands to hold bloody towels and a bag to catch the drips. (Sorry)), and during that interaction I did mention that I was injured at work. I get taken back and I ask the PA about how I claim this on Worker’s Comp because I have never had to do this before. She explained that I shouldn’t have to do much but to make the front desk aware when I leave. I get ready to check out and I ask one of the ladies about Worker’s Comp and she replied something along the lines of ‘Oh, it’s too late. You should have mentioned that when you came in. We have already sent the claim to your insurance so you will have to take it up with them.” I explained to her that I had mentioned that this was a work injury when I came in and pointed to the girl that checked me in, and she responded “yeah, but you didn’t tell me you were going to file it under workers comp.” Let’s out 2 & 2 together here and see if we can find the flawed logic there. A patient (me) comes in, informs the front desk that I was injured at work and need to be seen and not once does the MedExpress employee ask if I would be filing under workers comp. I was on the brink of passing out due to how much pain I was in and I don’t do well with the sight of my own blood, so the last thing on my mind was informed the employee that this would be workers comp, even though the first thing I said was “…I was injured at work.” I only came here because it was close by. I typically go to Velocity Care down the street because the service and level of care there are significantly better. This MedExpress location certainly has a reputation, so much so that a nurse there mentioned that she does not work at this location and couldn’t wait to get back to her home office because of how things are ran there. I was able to get my claim taken care of on my own after returning home. It would have been very nice if the employee’s there would put a little bit more thought into what their patient may or may not need when coming in for a WORK injury.
Honestly the worst experience at any health care place I’ve ever had. The PA I saw was very nice, but I waited for about 2.5 hours to be seen when I was told it would be within an hour. The front desk staff were also very rude when trying to check in
Excellent facility and excellent nice and very respectful staff.
I was in and out in 45 minutes - felt that I received high quality care. Will definitely return and recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
