List of Gregory K Dixon's Reviews
Absolutely love Dr. Dixon. His sense of humor is an added bonus. The fact that he brings his dog to work makes my heart smile. She is so sweet and loves the attention from everyone who visits the office.
I saw Dr. Dixon for the first time this past Monday and thought he was great! Plus, who wouldn’t love going to the doctor and hanging out with the cutest sweetest little office dog! I ordered glasses that day and was able to pick them up the following day. Staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend and will continue to go back to Dr. Dixon.
Dr. Dixon is the best Optometrist me and my family have seen to date. He's very thorough--especially if you have any medical conditions that can affect your eyes. He's truly awesome at what he does and he takes time to get to know you. He gives advice on how to pick out glasses that actually looks good on you. He told me that there are glasses that are specifically designed for every race and their ...
I was accompanied by a friend to the office. I’m a new client who gave info via phone. When I got there, Alyssa told me right off the bat that I gave them a wrong VSP number. She wanted me to give her a new number without adding “please” to her questions. Being new to VSP, I asked her how do I get another number aside from the one on my card. She did not even compare the number she had to my card. What if I mistakenly had missed a number or two on the phone. She was so accusatory she made me feel like I was trying to cheat or deceive them. I told her she is rude. That I don’t like the way she is behaving. I left in the parking lot, my friend told me I already noticed her attitude even before you said something. The worst part is Dixon defended that attitude. No wonder it’s so easy to get an appt with them compared to Culpeper Eye & Associates it takes a month before I got an appt. With Dixon I got an appt the following day!
Best of the best
I have been going to Dr. Dixon for about 15 years and the experience is always very rewarding. I trust that he has the health of my eyes as his utmost concern.
I have gone to Dr. Dixon since I was a child. He has always been thorough and professional. His equipment and technology is up to date and he does not miss things. For a time, my insurance changed and I saw another optometrist. I told them about a problem I was having. They basically blew it off. I went back to Dr. Dixon and he listened to me and immediately diagnosed it. He put me on the proper medication and I haven't had a problem since. Needless to say, I go to Dr. Dixon regardless of insurance participation.
Dr. Dixon is wonderful and very thorough. His office staff are efficient and kind. What else is there to say? Update: I went back to be fitted for contacts and it wasn't easy for me to touch my eyes. The office staff was so patient and really took their time to get me the right contacts for my eyes as well as help me get comfortable with the whole process. Thanks so much!
Always pleasent and professional! Open longer hours and weekends are always a bonus. They don't play insurance games and actually look after the patient. My 11 year old actually doesn't mind going at all!
Working in another Eye care center I can say that this place is very unprofessional as a Pt came here for a second opinion about the pressure in his eyes and I was hung up on 2 times trying to gain information to gets this pts records and then was told the 3rd time I called straight back the person helping me left for lunch ....

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
