Dr. Roshandel and his staff are top notch and you are in great hands in there office. From the moment I walked in his staff went above and beyond to make sure that I understood everything that was being done. Just when I didn’t think things could get better, they did. Dr. Roshandel is extremely knowledgeable and took his time evaluating me. Dr. Roshandel is one of a kind and I am so happy I found him. He explained what was happening to me and why breaking it down and making it very easy yo understand. While there I needed some imaging done by the Vascular Tech, Mr. Blair and his bedside manner was impeccable. I don’t often write reviews but I have never been to a private practice where everyone has it together. I went in this morning nervous that I wouldn’t be taken seriously, I couldn’t have been more wrong. If you are having cardiac issues you should really try to get on his schedule you won’t regret it.

Dr has the worst bedside manner and very rude. I feel like he oversteps his authority as a doctor. When you tell someone’s aide that they are not doing there job at caring for a patient and walks out the room after saying don’t waste my time never to return and say anything to patient so they requested not to go back there. If you love what you do you do it with care, patience and respect. He’s always saying don’t waste my time without reason because he doesn’t want you to talk not looking to explain a solution. Who wants to go to the doctor to be treated less than human and made to feel degraded. Will not be going back. I do believe in karma and I will leave it at that. Hopefully he doesn’t need a cardiologist one day I’m just saying Karma

The doctor is OK if you can ever get an appointment. The office DOES NOT ANSWER THRIE PHONE. When you go in its almost deserted in there so why don't the office people ever answer when you try to call ? I called over 20 times over a three day period and got nothing but a sorry recording that does not even work. Just don't waste your valuable time on the Earth with this "business". Its a joke of some kind apparently...

Here is a cardiologis t that is absolutely obsessed with administering stress tests. I had been referred to Dr, Roshandel by my family physician because of some minor irregularities in an EKG...irregularities that occurred year ago. The point of the visit was to get clearance for knee replacement surgery. Dr., Roshandel insisted I get a stress test. Unless the other tests indicate there is a problem, I am not going to have a stress test. I would like him to conduct the other two tests he scheduled. But before those tests were taken, I received a telephone call from his nurse who said she had a letter that Dr. Roshandel had written and would send to my knee surgeon. In that letter he said, I had coronary disease. That I am a smoker. And he would leave it up to the surgeon to decide if she should operate. I haven't smoked in over 50 years. I do not have coronary disease. I found a new cardiologist. No stress test. EKG was inconsequential. Other tests were fine.

They are very friendly and very knowledgeable they explain everything in d e p t h it may even recognize you with a mask on. I thanked them for their courtesy

I can honestly say that I have never written a Google review, but felt compelled to do so to describe my wonderful experience at Blue Ridge Cardiovascular Associates. From the moment I entered the office, to when I checked out, every step of the way was stellar! When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the receptionists and the Medical Assistant that roomed me was polite, professional and very personable, but my most positive experience was with Dr. Roshandel! Since I was in need of a cardiologist for the first time in my life, I wasn't sure who I should trust with my care. I was referred to Dr. Roshandel by my primary care physician and he was also recommended by my neighbor, who had nothing but positive things to say about him and his medical expertise. I was told that up until a couple of years ago, he had been the only cardiologist in Culpeper County and that he, literally, took care of every cardiac patient in the county. My neighbor said that Dr. Roshandel has a wonderful, caring reputation and that I would be in good hands...and he was so right! Dr. Roshandel took the time to listen to me, make an initial assessment of my condition and had ordered a few needed studies to be performed right in his office. (By the way, his study technicians are just as caring as the rest of his staff!) I never felt rushed when Dr. Roshandel met with me. When I went in to see him for my follow-up visit after the studies, he thoroughly explained everything to me in a manner in which I could understand without talking down to me...he even drew pictures of the heart to further explain what my issue is! Thanks to Dr. Roshandel, I am now on medication and am feeling much better, but especially, I have the peace of mind knowing that I have him taking care of me! I would recommend Dr. Roshandel, unequivocally, to anyone who is need of a wonderful cardiologist!

I was referred to Dr Roshandel in late December for new chest pains. After a nuclear stress test and echocardiogram Dr Roshandel diagnosed my chest pain as acid reflux and heartburn. 9 weeks later I was medevaced to UVA with a life threatening “widow maker” STEMI heart attack caused by a 90% blockage of my left anterior descending artery. If Dr Roshandel would have run one more catheter test he may have found and been able to treat the potential blockage. A stent was required to correct the blockage and I will be on meds for the rest of my life. Use your best judgment if you are considering using Dr Roshandel for your cardiac care. I will be switching docs!

Dr. Roshandel and his staff are amazing. No one wants to go to the doctor about their heart. It's a scary thing. EVERY person in this office is professional, personable, and kind. Dr. Roshandel is meticulous in his explanations and always takes as much time with his patients as needed. He isn't one of those doctors that talks at you. He talks with you and makes sure his patients have a clear understanding before they leave his office. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was referred to Dr Roshandel in December 2020 for chest pains. In mid January Dr Roshandel diagnosed my chest pain as heartburn. On March 6, I suffered a major “widow maker” heart attack. I had to be airlifted to UVA and have a lifesaving angioplasty procedure. I had a 90% blockage of the left anterior descending artery that was completely missed by Dr Roshandel. One more test procedure that was not performed would have shown the blockage and been able to correct without having to suffer a life threatening heart attack. If you are considering Dr Roshandel for your cardiac care...beware.
