List of Gregory J. Alba's Reviews
I believe it was Dr. Alba I seen in the emergency clinic on Park Ave. I really liked how he wasted no time trying to find out what was causing my chest pain. After test he felt I needed to be transferred to our main hospital. He is such a caring doctor that was looking out for my best interest. He made sure to explain in detail what he felt was going on with me and more than likely saved my life. I would've written the review sooner but just now came across this where I could leave one for Dr. Alba.
Doctor Alba was very thorough I appreciate a doctor that takes time and tries to figure out what is going on with me instead of just giving meds to mask the pain and discomfort. I wish he was a primary care doctor I would definitely choose him. He did blood work and X-ray then referred me to a gastroenterologist. Which I have an appointment on November 2 , 2020 .

Saw Dr. Alba for what I thought was a chest cold. He gave me 5 minutes of his time and said I should take the antibiotic her wrote. I thought that it was strange that he really didnt allow me more time. 2 days later I was in the ER with pneumonia. I was told that I probably was sick for over a week with it. I will not go back to See Dr. Alba.

I agree with the woman below. He was great when I had a few sinus infections, but for return after return after return for debilitating fatigue, he ran a few blood tests and dismissed me when they came back normal. He never took my complaints seriously, and it wasn't until I saw a nurse practitioner IN THE SAME OFFICE, was I treated with the care I deserved. 6 months later I was finally diagnosed with Epilepsy. I suggest going elsewhere. He should have done the same tests my nurse did.
Dr. Alba is a professional, friendly, caring, knowledgable doctor who I enjoy seeing very much. He is always willing to listen with a smile. He has a very pleasant and professional disposition.
If you have a problem that has a specialist - like gastroenterology or endocrinology - go to the specialist instead of here. If your problem is minor - cold, flu, etc. this should be okay. Despite ongoing symptoms / issues he always says "see you in 3 months"! I need something diagnosed and corrected before 3 months passes! It was my 3rd visit before he physically examined me. Be sure to get copies of your records and check them for errors. Nice man, just too rushed perhaps to treat serious medical issues. I was expecting much more from a DO specialty. (Kept going here while awaiting appt with specialist.)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
