Dr. Melamud is the absolute best! I have a retinal vein occlusion and was legally blind in one eye. Through injections and laser treatments I now have 20/20 vision again.

Very well cared for by Dr. Melamud. Questions always answered, and yet the appointment with him is efficient and pleasant. All in all, a good experience each time.

Every time when we visit the dr. Malamud, always we have to wait on him in the exam room more than 30 minutes, besides the waiting room outside. Very irresponsible The time he takes to examine the patient is less than 5 min and he take conclusive answers before he even examines the patient. Will definitely switch with another dr for next visit.

first, dr. melamud did his part as professionally as always. my kvetch is what happened when i arrived and then after in the queue for my appointment. first, a hit on me — got there at 1115 and the checkin person said my appointment was at 1215 which was right. i said i would wait anyway. as 1215 came and passed, i figured there were a couple people ahead of me waiting too, but when a woman checked in ca. 1235 and was called at 1240, i went to the checkin person to question why i still hadn’t been called. she said ‘because you haven’t checked in’!! i said this was ridiculous that i hadn’t been checked in when i first arrived. that’s it — i soon got let in for my appointment, but i was — and still am — very angry about this episode.

Having never had my eyes dilated and and such an extensive exam I was quite anxious, however I was treated with great care, all of my concerns and questions were answered professionally and left well informed

The nicest Optometrist I have ever had to see in my entire life! Very thorough & friendly. He made me feel comfortable throughout the visit & explained everything so that I could understand completely. He's definitely going to be my Optometrist going forward & I highly recommend him.
