Dr. Moazzezz's Fair Oaks office is amazing! His staff are all professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. My PCP highly recommended him to me and I am extremely grateful and pleased. I strongly recommend him as a bariatric surgeon!

Great Doctors

Dr. Moazzez was the BEST Bariatric Surgeon! He is timely; patient; knowledgeable; caring and informative. However the Staff is HORRIBLE! There is ABSOLUTELY no Follow through. Don't think speaking with the office manager is going to change anything because it doesn't. GOOD luck if she makes time to call you back and listens with empathy although she is NOT going to do nothing about it. If you need your prescriptions' refilled and or other vitamins -GOOD LUCK - timeliness is NOT their thing at all. The Dietician and Nurse Practitioners are OVERWHELMED with patients and you will be lucky to hear from them at all. When rules change -you receive no calls and or information to let you know about it until you make contact with them. JUST BEWARE and know that you have been informed about the adventurous UNACCEPTABLE customer service you will receive should you choose to use Dr. Moazzez!

This Doctor is the Best Surgeon ever; however the staff BEWARE. There is absolutely NO follow-through whatsoever. They only remember you when you make contact regarding your prescriptions and or vitamins. The Dietician and Nurse Practitioners Case load is too overwhelming for them to extend the VIP treatment that INOVA claims to be. It's unfortunate because this Doctor is above all the BEST Bariatric Surgeon in the business. I just can NOT refer anyone because the office beside manners and follow-through is PUTRID!

The best surgeon ever, he takes his time to explain everything in detail to the patient and he is a true human being. I was scared and crying the day of the surgery and he came out from the OR to comfort me and to reassure me that everything will be OK. I had a successful surgery and my life has changed completely. He saved my life and I was reborn that day.

Great bedside manner, always explains everything in great detail with pictures and research data! He knows his stuff and makes sure his patients understand also. Everyone from his team are there to support you along the way and also re-explains things before you are discharged. Very happy with everything!!!!

Dr. Moazzez & his staff are awful. I had a lap band & for several years it was going ok. I did lose 100lbs but then something was not right. For 6 months ever time I saw him I was telling him & his staff that something was not right. He kept telling me that everything was ok & I just need a fill but that was not the case & all he had to do was send me for an X-ray. The band had protrude into my stomach & I almost died. ALL HE HAD TO DO WAS SEND ME FOR A X-RAY!!

Dr. Moazzez was great but the staff is terrible. Ashley was very friendly and nice and the absolute only one that is helpful. I paid $24,000 out of my personal pocket for this surgery and was 11 minutes late for my postop appointment and I they would not see me. I drove over an hour and a half to get to the appointment. They do not have empathy and when I did see the nutritionist and had lost 52 pounds no one was even excited nor motivated to help. Terrible staff attitudes. The appointment before this one - I waited 20 min. Don't get me wrong - the dr is amazing but the staff is rude and they are dealing with patients who have extreme obesity and they just don't care.
