List of Asma P. Khapra's Reviews
Dr. Khapra is an exceptionally warm physician and I always feel like she treats me as a whole person, not just a "case' or even one patient out of many she will see that day.
Dr. Khapra was very thorough in diagnosing my condition and, while explaining the treatment plan, she was incredibly reassuring. She patiently answered all my questions and provided comprehensive guidance throughout. She was very attentive and took the time needed for patient care.
Great experience at Gastro health, Dr Khapra address all my questions and was very personable.Thank you and your awesome team!.
Dr. Khapra took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions.
My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Khapra. I contacted her office to make an appointment today and I was on hold for 31 minutes before the receptionist picked up. I asked if Dr. Khapra was accepting new patients and the reception confirmed that she was. The receptionist then proceeded to take my personal contact and insurance info, but never asked what symptoms I was experiencing. Instead she told me the doctor's next available appointment was at the end of October, for a tele appointment. Seriously?!? Is this just about money?!? If a patient is symptomatic, why would any reasonable person think that waiting two months is a reasonable standard of care and how would she treat the issues through a telephonic appointment? This approach to practicing medicine is more akin to malpractice, not best practice. I hope others have had far better experiences with this doctor and practice. My limited interactions make me want to scream "charlatan!".
Doctors are great
Gastro health has the worst customer care. I have been trying to get an endoscopy scheduled for a month now. I have left messages and nobody calls back. I have left emails on patient portal- no response.
I've been a patient of Dr Khaphra for years and this review has been a long time coming. She works with me and my approach to health such as the approach of taking the least amount of medications possible and controlling my GI condition as much as possible through natural means first like diet. I look forward to working with this doctor for many years to come to manage my GI condition.
called about 20 time for 2 days, she did not return phone call, no symphony to patient
I will file complain for Dr. Asma Khapra, two days before my mom's procedure I have called her office more than 20 times and asked Dr. Khapra to give me a call since I would like to get clarification from her that she is aware of my mom medical situation. She did not call me even though I had tried call 5 times for office urgent line and asked nurse to message her to call me back the day before procedure, She still did not call me. After we finally got to the hospital for procedure, she showed up and said she can not do procedure due to my Mom's medical situation. She did not review my mom medical condition and even though I have called more than 20 times to office and begging her to call me, she is still no response This doctor is totally unacceptable and I would give 0 rating, please stay away from her

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
