Barry Saffran's Online Review Report Card

Poor bedside manner. When I refused all the extra unnecessary testing he didn't want to do anything. I went in for some skin issue on the tip of my toe and he tried to xray both feet. I had an issue a the tip of my toe but he wouldn't look at it because I had toenail polish on. I asked if they had any remover as I had made such an effort to get to and make my appointment. He said they didn't have any, even though the nurse nodded as though they did. As a medical professional I have never worked in an office that didn't have a packet of nail polish remover. As a podiatry practice they should let people know that they need to remove nail polish before coming in, I would have gladly done so. Instead my time was wasted and I left with zero information and the expense of the appointment.

Be Aware - That when it comes to Dr. Barry Saffran on review websites throughout the internet, you will find that some comments are real but Most are Fake. Probably posted by Dr. Saffran himself. He certainly devotes much time and effort to 'doctoring' his image. He and his staff stay quite busy at covering-up his misconduct by removing and pushing to the back and burying so many of his past patients' bad experiences with him and negative online reviews (you won't see most of them), and then they go on to mendaciously make up and post fake positive 'self-flattering' comments to deceptively prop-up their ratings (as much as they can). ... You have to ask yourself, is that something Established 'Ethical' doctors need to do? Why is 'That' necessary? .. Out of THOUSANDS of patients, they can only 'persuade' and 'coach' a very small handful of them 'to stick up for him'. If they were in my shoes and experienced the side of him I and many others did, they wouldn't do that.

I have been seeing Dr. Saffran for many years. He is very caring and a great communicator also he has a great personality and knowledge. His front office ladies are so sweet, and his nurse is very caring. Dr Saffran removed hardware from my large left toe that had been there for several years, and I always had pain. He contacted the doctor that installed the hardware and was able to get the information he needed. He took the time to research the type of screws and got the necessary surgical tools to remove them. Overall, I would say he is one of the top doctors in the area.

In June 2020, I tore my tibial tendon in my left foot. Dr Saffran recommended surgery to repair the tendon. He meticulously discussed what was required to get me back to normal. He skillfully performed the operation and carefully monitored my progress over the next 10 months. I am as good as new now and want to thank Dr Saffran and his staff for a job really well done. If you have ankle or foot problems, I highly recommend Dr Saffran. FIVE STARS!

Brought my son here for "growing pains". Office environment and all staff members were great! I felt very safe attending an in-person appointment. Dr. Saffran was very thorough....loved that he was old school taking lots of notes while we talked. Great bedside manner with my teenage son and very easy to talk to! Highly recommend The Center for Foot and Ankle Care.

This podiatrist will try to put words in your mouth, after he messes your foot up. Don't Let Him! .. This is why he doesn't like 'witnesses' in the room.. especially with children and his elderly patients.

My feet love him because he`s treated them well for a long time. I`ve consulted with Dr. Saffran for treatment for several injuries and to remedy my flat feet and associated discomfort. Each surgery has successfully corrected the problem or repaired my injury. The recent was a "Jones Break". The surgeries were adroitly performed and recovery went as predicted. In fact, the surgical scars for each surgery are minimally visible - a testament to Dr. Saffran`s experience and skill. I`ve been a patient for a long time and recommend him.

After several foot injuries and several surgeries to correct my feet problems, I unreservedly recommend Dr. Saffran if you have foot or ankle problems. He is an experienced and knowledgeable surgeon. He`s successfully treated me for a 5th metatarsal break, a toe amputation due to an injury and other symptoms associated with my problem flat feet. I have been a patient for over 30 years and am grateful for his expertise and treatments. The well being and health of my feet are critical. Dr. Saffran`s treatment over the years has ensured my overall well being and has doubtlessly prevented discomfort or degradation of my foot health. His skill, surgical expertise and knowledge is instrumental in helping me maintain my foot health.

Dr. Saffran provided care for my 7th grade son. He was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and very insightful in terms of how we should proceed with his care--cautiously. I am thankful for that approach, especially since it involves a child, who is still growing. I would highly recommend his services, and, as a mother, appreciate his care. He is trustworth.
