Gastro Health system is worst I have dealt with in all my over 40yrs. They want to collect money first before procesure because I don't have insurance, so I paid but keep sending bill from several places because their mistakes. No one wants to correct about it but wants me to pay more. Horrible service.

This practice and its billing policies are based on billing fraud and lies. The bedside manner is horrible and Dr. Kim flat out lied to me about the medical necessity of a procedure and the reasons for it. This was followed by billing the procedure in a way that would require me to pay the most possible out of pocket (entire year's deductable), as it was then not be covered by insurance because it was coded as diagnostic versus preventive (I was told prior it was to make sure I didn't have cancer, and preventive is fully covered by my insurance). When I contacted Dr. Kim as well as billing, etc., Then suddenly said I misunderstood and it was diagnostic, and he then made up what he was trying to diagnose as something I specifically mentioned in the office visit prior as not a possibility based on symptoms. However, if he was going use the procedure to diagnose, why would he give me medication for the reason I came in during the office visit prior (also disconnected to the reason he told billing staff to tell me after the fact)? Also, if a procedure is optional, then why would I (or most others) decide to do it at such a great out of pocket cost and the torture involved with preps? I'd have to be crazy and masochist to voluntarily go through that! Sadly, they pulled a similar stunt with a friend later on and reading here, others also had similar issues. This saga continued for a while and Dr. Kim and the billing staff even lied to my insurance when they called this office to figure out the coding lie, saying I didn't understand correctly. Furthermore, they have an LLC-- Capitol Anesthesia Group-- so they can double charge for that separately, with charges for the anesthesiologist that stops by for a second prior to the procedure AND the anesthesia nurse who is there during. They also sent my case to collections while I was trying to gather more information from insurance for them to address, but didn't notify me, even. Since then, they also changed the name of the practice, which I can only guess might be related to the terrible reviews they receive. BEWARE AND AVOID!

It's so hard to get an appointment with this doctor. I ended up in the ER with severe abdominal pain in August. I was referred to Dr. Kim, and the earliest I could see him was the middle of September - a month later. Most of my symptoms had disappeared by then. He said that if I ever have pain like that again, to give his office a call, so I could see him asap. Well, it started again in October, so I called. I couldn't see him until November. What's the point? I am SO frustrated.

Just did my 2nd colonoscopy with Dr. Kim. The experience was the same as the 1st time: - Smooth operation, like a clock - no pain, no complication, no side effect As good as I can ever expected.

I don't recommend Dr. Kim because after working with him for 2 year and 3 colonoscopies, I can honestly say he has never valued my time as a patient. I can't say whether my surgeries are good or not since I was under the whole time but I've had to wait for him for over 1 hour on multiple occasions for consultations, and frankly that's just unacceptable for me.

Dr. Kim is very nice doctor. My first appointment was him was short. I did hate the fact that i waited 1 hour and a half to see him. The front desk wasn't vey helpful. They didn't say anything. They should of at least said the doctor had an emergency he will be right with you.

I am quite fond of Dr. Kim, not just for his knowledge, but for his willingness to listen. Very pleased witht he care I have received from him and his staff.

Nice, thoughtful doctor. However, first appt with him was maybe 2 minutes. I spoke to an associate first, then he came in. Second appt. was longer. I liked him.

He correctly diagnosed my IBS and he's pleasant but his accent is so thick I never really knew what he was saying to me. I eventually switched to another physician in that practice.
