Dr Chao REFUSED to put my 2 year old son’s GI tube back in after his endoscopy, insisting that mom learn how. This was after it being requested by parents AND the nursing staff. She is arrogant and dismissive. I do not trust that she actually LISTENS to patients or their parents.

Dr. Chao strikes me as a real problem solver. She carefully listened to the description of symptoms, identified tests that my daughter should have, and sent us home with a clear plan. I have already recommended her to a friend.

Worst doctor I've ever been to.

I took my son to dr chao to see what was causing his diarrhea. Without asking any questions she diagnosed him as being constapated after simply putting her hand on my sons stomach. She put him on a concoction of powerful drugs that have only made it worse. Recently I decided to take him off the drugs and he is significantly better. She is the worst doctor i have ever been to.

Misdiagnosed me and gave me a medicine that created a whole new set of problems.

After my son had been experiencing some stomach pain on and of for amonth I decided to dr chao. She said it was constapation/impaction without even examining him or asking any other question. She prescribed my young child (6) a medicine used on adults to completely clean them out before colonoscopys. After two years of this he is now worse than he he started by a long shot.

Misdiagnosed me, and put me on medication that made it worse. Worst doctor I have ever been to.

Spent lots of time explaining what our son's problem was and how to treat. Left the office fully understanding what the plan would be. Even left with a typed summary of the problem and treatment outlined in detail to reinforce what was said during our visit. If only all doctors could do that! So organized! She really seemed to understand and care.
