We did a Telehealth visit. Dr. Sandesara is pleasant, professional, speaks to the patient on their level. Takes his time, talks slowly so the patient can understand and gives you options. If I had to have a procedure he would be the Dr. I would go with. He put me at total ease. Wonderful Dr. and I highly recommend him!!!

Dr Sandesara has been wonderful to me. Answers all my questions. Returns phone calls. Was willing to work with me on my preferred conservative approach.

Absolutely horrible bedside manner. He did not listen to my concerns and dismissed my questions. He was very confrontational when I began to question his theory, and the types of meds, of which, he did not even understand that diltiazem is the generic of Cardizem. He spoke around and around about that topic. It made me very frustrated and angry that I didn't feel acknowledged as a patient. I am a healthcare provider, and was appalled at his service, or lack thereof. I will be seeking another doctor that is willing to listen to their patients. ADDENDUM: This physician also forgot to send my medication to the pharmacy, after telling him and his office that I was completely out of my medication. I am now waiting on the on call MD to call me. I now have been without my medication for two days, because it is a weekend. Unacceptable.

I have had 6 cardioversions, an ablation for atrial flutter, and at least three different drugs for pacing the rhythm of my heart over the last 3 years. Virginia Heart cardiologists provided excellent care but I seemed to be slowly getting worse with 3 ER visits & stays in November and December. Since Dr. Atiga left VA Heart I decided to see Dr. Sandesara and I am very glad I did. He spent 30 minutes at our initial meeting explaining his evaluation of my AFIB and laid out 2 alternative treatment paths including an ablation of the left pulmonary veins. His demeanor, knowledge and calm self assured manner convinced me he was the surgeon I was looking for so I authorized the surgery on Jan 6. Now a week later the AFIB is gone, my heart rate is back into the 70's from the high 40's and my BP is again normal. I feel like a new person and I am walking 2 miles a day again. My color is better and my fatigue is in the past. This fine physician is a five star wonder. Thank you.

Have been experiencing arterial fibrillation; doctor Sandesara is an extraordinarily thoughtful physician. He is careful and interested in patients and their wellbeing.

I went through several EP's before finding Dr. Sandesara. Other EP's were all about doing ablations, as though that's the solution to all arrhythmia problems. After three ablations of only temporary success, I switched to Dr. Sandesara when the arrhythmia again returned. Unlike the other EP's, he was very proactive in working with me as a team to find alternatives that worked. My arrhythmia has been under control now for nearly two years, without needing any more ablations. But it took time to find the right answers, which he had the patience and experience to do. He is very down to earth, personable, and takes time with you. Highly recommended!

When a physicians God complex interferes with patient care it's time for that physician to stop practicing. Although he thinks he is God and acts like he is God, he is in fact not God. What his patients say and what they desire means nothing to him. He makes decisions for his patients and decides their treatment plan based on his belief and that is not only unprofessional but wrong.

After waiting for over an hour and a half I finally got back to a room. Unfortunately Dr. Sandesara's God complex interferes with patient care. God forbid you want any type of quality of life or want to make an informed decision about your health and your body that he disagrees with. If you need a cardiologist or electrophysiologist I recommend going to a veterinarian before seeing Dr. Sandesara or any of his partners.

I was referred to Dr. Sandesara due to the severity of my AFIB and Atrial Flutter. I had been seen in the emergency room 9 times in the 5 months previous to seeing him. My quality of life had plummeted and I had nearly given up hope. I had seen 3 different Cardiologists previous to my referral to Dr. Sandesara and they were unable to help me. Dr. Sandesara performed a Cardiac Ablation on me, at Fairfax Hospital, on 4/18/16. It has changed my life completely; this man truly saved my life.
