I am writing this review on behalf of my wife's recent visit with Dr. Bussey. Unfortunately, she had a very bad experience and Dr. Bussey that made her feel awful about her body and fat shamed her. My wife went to her for chest pains and she totally disregarded my wife's concerns about her chest pains and was patronizing towards her. My wife even had to ask the doctor about her EKG results b/c the doctor was so focused on her "weight" and "physical activity" instead of my wife's presenting medical issues. She was even condescending when my wife asked questions about her heart and told her it was just her "anxiety" and she is overly worried about her chest pains! I don't recommend this provider if you are a person with a bigger body or overweight.

It is very unfortunate that I feel I must post a very negative review for Inova cardiologists.My 85 year old mom has been a patient for over 20 years.The practice has been great and definitely saved my mom’s life.But now it is impossible to get an appointment with any of the cardiologists in this group.We had an annual appointment scheduled in June 2022 with her new cardiologist (Dr Slottow) because her originally cardiologist retired (Dr Bon Tempo).My mom started having problems so we requested an appointment with the doctor in March of 2022. Of course no appointments were available for 6 months so we had to meet with the pa.The pa made some recommendations and my mom continued to have problems. We had an annual appointment scheduled for June as mentioned above. When we called to say we were coming in for June the appointment it had been canceled. We did not cancel the appointment. They gave us another appointment for Dr Bussey and two days before They canceled 6 mths to reschedule.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bussey for more than 5 years. I got her name from my law partner whose kids are research doctors and always obtain wonderful care for him. She is extraordinarily patient with my questions, always thorough in her testing and has been generous with her time. And she explains things. I recommend her without equivocation.

I met Dr Bussey in 2017 , I had some extensive test down. She was reserved and didn’t say much. I thought maybe she wanted me to complete the tests first and then we would chat. Not! From my opinion , she probably Is only good at conducting the test for the primary care doctors, but lacks anything else. Once I completed my test, I ask if she would be coming In to speak with me and the lady at the desk said maybe she’ll call you or something ( I can’t remember ). Never got that and never had that one on with Dr Busesy. Just piss poor bedside manner. And personal skills -Ignorant!

I met Dr. Bussey a while ago for a appointment , this person did not want to listen to anything i had to say and was very rude to me , I dont know how this Dr. has any customers , I would not see this Dr. if it was free, I would give this person Zero stars

No star! But this site required one in order to write review. Horrible! Had NEVER had an experience with a Dr. like this before. It was my first with a Cardiologist. Waited two months. Brought in all heart related original medical records (they can’t find them now!). She was rude, condescending, had attitude, mean, attacking and insulting. It was weird. I had been on a BP med and showed her BP charts that showed it made a difference. She laughed at me and said it was just the placebo effect. When asked about a situation in which my heart rate would suddenly change and climb I mentioned an eve relaxed and watching tv. She said it was because of the show I was watching. That it stressed me. I answered “it was a Hallmark movie.” She didn’t even discuss my BP med. All this despite acknowledging that I was at high risk due to both my parents’ heart disease which began in their 40’s. (I’m past mid 50’s). She did nothing. AVOID! Waste of time. Went on and found a real Cardio Dr.

Dr. Bussey is a true professional, caring, compassionate and thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Bussey, she explains every detail of your care and answers all concerns you may have about your health. 5 star Dr.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bussey about 5 years and I must say she is a wonderful, compassionate and most of all thorough Dr. She is concerned with her patients well being and answers all questions her patients asks her. I highly recommend Dr. Bussey to anyone who wants a well informed Cardiologist

Worst cardiologist I can even imagine. Never gives patient helpful info. Dislikes patient questions. Kept me on toxic drugs that created my medical problems. Thank God I got away from Dr. Bussey.
