I was referred to this office after having had a terrible experience at another cardiology group. I am so blessed and grateful to have found this facility and Dr. Sherwood. The difference in the level care that I experienced was tremendous. Dr. Sherwood educated me on my condition in a manner that allayed my anxiety and gave me the proper perspective on my heart health. I was wondering to myself why, after seeing another cardiologist for two months, I had a much clearer understanding of where I stood after only ONE visit with Dr. Sherwood. IT REALLY MATTERS WHO YOUR DOCTORS ARE!!! Just as there are better, more effective tools for mechanics, so too, there are better more effective, competent doctors. Communication is SO important in all aspects of life, none more so than when it comes to one’s medical condition. People have a way going from “zero to doomsday” in two seconds flat! If your care giver is unable to paint you a picture of your health in a matter of fact manner, while being a real human being, it can make for an unpleasant and confusing experience. Thank you, Dr. Sherwood for making my crooked road, straight! Thank you for making me feel, finally, like I was in competent hands and talking to me like we were neighbors. I appreciate you and look forward to the continued care from you and your wonderful staff.AND…….to those small-minded people who are leaving bad reviews about long wait times for appointments…..GET A LIFE!!! Ever heard of a “First World problem???” Have some more gratitude and spend more time being less miserable 😖!!!Thanks again to Dr. Sherwood and his entire staff 🙏🏽!

I had a great experience as a first time patient at this practice. My appt was for a follow discharge from Inova Fairfax and I saw Dr. Ekanem. Upon arrival there were safety precautions put in place for Covid and the facility was very clean. The staff at the front desk were welcoming. I enjoyed the fact that all of my records were already in the system since they share the Inova network. There was no unnecessary or repetitive paperwork to be completed.Dr. Ekanem was very polite and knowledgeable. He took his time and answered all of my questions. I'm currently undergoing additional testing and feel confident receiving continued medical care with this physician and at this facility.

2:30 appointment and you get called in at 3:45, for a 10 minute checkup. What's the point of having a 2:30 appointment?

I met Dr Bussey in 2017 , I had some extensive test down. She was reserved and didn’t say much. I thought maybe she wanted me to complete the tests first and then we would chat. Not! From my opinion , she probably Is only good at conducting the test for the primary care doctors, but lacks anything else. Once I completed my test, I ask if she would be coming In to speak with me and the lady at the desk said maybe she’ll call you or something ( I can’t remember ). Never got that and never had that one on with Dr Busesy. Just piss poor bedside manner. And personal skills -Ignorant!

They cancelled my husband's appointment less than 2 days before and could not reschedule until over a month later. Didn't matter to the staff that his symptoms are worsening.

I met Dr. Bussey a while ago for a appointment , this person did not want to listen to anything i had to say and was very rude to me , I dont know how this Dr. has any customers , I would not see this Dr. if it was free, I would give this person Zero stars

No star! But this site required one in order to write review. Horrible! Had NEVER had an experience with a Dr. like this before. It was my first with a Cardiologist. Waited two months. Brought in all heart related original medical records (they can’t find them now!). She was rude, condescending, had attitude, mean, attacking and insulting. It was weird. I had been on a BP med and showed her BP charts that showed it made a difference. She laughed at me and said it was just the placebo effect. When asked about a situation in which my heart rate would suddenly change and climb I mentioned an eve relaxed and watching tv. She said it was because of the show I was watching. That it stressed me. I answered “it was a Hallmark movie.” She didn’t even discuss my BP med. All this despite acknowledging that I was at high risk due to both my parents’ heart disease which began in their 40’s. (I’m past mid 50’s). She did nothing. AVOID! Waste of time. Went on and found a real Cardio Dr.

Dr. Bussey is a true professional, caring, compassionate and thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Bussey, she explains every detail of your care and answers all concerns you may have about your health. 5 star Dr.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bussey about 5 years and I must say she is a wonderful, compassionate and most of all thorough Dr. She is concerned with her patients well being and answers all questions her patients asks her. I highly recommend Dr. Bussey to anyone who wants a well informed Cardiologist
