List of Christopher P Silveri's Reviews
I saw Dr. Silveri when he was practicing at Fair Oaks Orthopedic. I had a fantastic outcome to my surgery (ACDF). He was thorough, and took the time to answer all my questions.
Dr. Silveri and his staff have been outstanding throughout the process. Knowing what to expect and having all my questions answered meant a lot. I’m almost 3 weeks post surgery and feel like I’m getting my life back. I’d see Dr. Silveri before making any decisions regarding spinal surgery. -update: I’m now 6 months post surgery, feel great and have zero pain. I should add that unlike other doctors who were quick to tell me I needed surgery, Dr. Silveri did everything he could to avoid operating. I appreciated that. His experience shows in his successes and the way he treats patients.
I highly recommend Dr Silveri. I was in a lot of pain and immediately after he performed my spinal fusion, all pain was gone. He and his staff are very professional and friendly. It was a great experience, and if I ever need an orthopedic surgeon again, he will be my first call.
My experience with Dr. Silveri was very positive. He is a brilliant surgeon with a warm and kind bedside manner. He de-compressed my spinal cord and I felt like a different person afterwards. He combined his talents with neurosurgeon Dr. Nilesh Vyas so I had a dream team! Tricia Knox is the superwoman who runs his office and is smart, knowledgable and professional. My only complaint was that I did not have a good experience post-op at Fair Oaks Hospital. They didn't give me sufficient post op pain medication to the point I was in a fetal position crying and begging to be given some mercy less than 24 hours after my procedure! Then, they discharged me when I was in so much pain and so weak I couldn't even stand up. I told them I was unsafe to go home, but they forced me to! They also refused to allow me to attend my own Discharge Meeting. Fair Oaks Hospital sucks. Dr. Silveri, however, rocks.
Very dismissive and arrogant doctor! Ignored the signs of my husband’s difficulty post surgery and was difficult to contact in an emergency. Released too early and he had to be rushed to the hospital after going home. Hours of unnecessary suffering and dangerous urine retention. Had to be catheterized and relieved of 900 cc of blood and fluid.
Referred to Dr. Silveri for excruciating, debilitating, faint-inducing pain in my butt, thigh, and leg. He swiftly ordered an MRI and was straightforward about treatment options for a large herniated disc when we followed up. I elected to have microdiscectomy surgery because he was confident in the probability of its success and the odds that PT alone would fix my case. 2 months unable to walk without keeling over was enough for me (keeling over hurt too). In at noon, out at 4 the day of surgery. Nerve pain was completely gone when I woke up and it has stayed gone, along with rapid improvement of other nerve related symptoms. I was off major painkillers day 3 post-op. Recovery has been smooth and easy, frankly. Only a couple initial days of routine discomfort (which he patiently assured me was normal when I called the office on the Saturday after surgery! Forever grateful). His office has been very communicative throughout the whole process
If I could give Dr. Silveri more than five stars I would. From the first time I met him in his office he made me feel comfortable in allowing me to make the decision to have surgery based on my MRI. His skills as a neurosurgeon and his bedside manner far exceeded any expectations I had prior to my surgery and post operatively. I went into surgery with absolutely no anxiety due to my confidence in Dr. Silveri and I have recommended him to friends and acquaintances many times since my surgery in September.
Dr. Silveri deserves more than five stars. He's not only a great surgeon, his demeanor and bedside manner far exceeded my expectations. He did surgery on me in September, 2021 and I have had a great recovery from major spine surgery. I highly recommend him to anyone requiring spine surgery. His staff is friendly and courteous and very professional. I thank him every day for giving me my life back ...
Excellent surgeon, my Mom has regained her mobility and ability and can once again enjoy every day activities. Most importantly, her severe back pain has been relieved.
I suffered for years with Neck pain, because I was very skeptical about having spine surgery to correct the issue. However, after meeting with Dr. Silveri, he took the time to explain, in detail, the procedure and recovery and really made me more comfortable with proceeding. The surgery went well and the recovery was exactly how Dr. Silveri indicated and I was very happy that I had the surgery. I am pain free and very happy. Thank you to Dr. Silveri and his team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
