Cindy A Kinder's Online Review Report Card

I’ve had to see Dr. Kinder a couple of times and she always seems rushed. She is nice and answers all questions, but always as quick as possible, doesn’t try to be friendly and runs out of the room as fast as she can.

I came in asking for a low androgen birth control as I have alopecia and needed to regulate my periods after taking Spironolactone to treat elevated testosterone (that was suspected to be causing my hair loss). Dr. Kinder said she would put me on a pill that she prescribes for many patients, Junel Fe. I just trusted her because I am young, but it turns out that Junel Fe is one of the most androgenic birth controls. I was on it for four months before I found that out, and asked to switch and she first responded that birth control doesn't cause hair loss. High androgen birth controls are widely known to result in hair loss and Dr. Kinder needs to be aware of that. It's irresponsible to prescribe a high androgen birth control to someone who is already experiencing hair loss AND taking an anti-androgen as treatment for it!

Very poor bedside manner. I pushed for 2 hours and she didn't seem interested. Seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else but in my delivery room. Dr. Kinder and the nurse kept giving each other looks that felt like "When will this be over". I complained that my epidural was too much that I couldn't tell if I was pushing well or not. (4th Baby) I was almost taken back for a c-section. She said there was nothing more she could do because the baby was stuck. The OB that relieved her came in, turned the baby's head, had my epidural turned off and after two more pushes, the baby came out vaginally. Delivering a baby is a precious moment and to be honest, she made the experience less enjoyable.

This is second time i saw Dr kinder. She is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. She discussed options and pros and cons to surgery. I felt 100% better after talking with her.

First time to this practice. Waiting area nice and clean, receptionist friendly and efficient, virtually no wait time. Dr. Kinder saw me in her office for a nice relaxed chat about my medical history and concerns because this was my first visit. I did not feel hurried. She answered all my questions. I liked her professional manner and felt like she really cared. Lab results arrived twice as quickly as at my previous gynecologist. I will continue to see Dr. Kinder.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Kinder, and she was fantastic! She took the time to sit down with me and answer all of my questions thoroughly. She didn't rush at all. She is extremely kind, understanding, and I highly recommend her to anyone in search of a new OBGYN.

Dr Kinder is great. Explains things thoroughly and calmly. The -2 stars is for the office management. I ordered and IUD and received no calls saying it was approved, and when I asked in person they said my voicemail was not set up. I called it in front of them and it's definitely set up. Also there were mixed messages, one saying I can schedule and IUD appointment because I know when my placebo weeks were and another saying no you can't schedule anything until they have the IUD for me. Honestly these aren't big things, but doesn't give off a professional experience to have such disorganization.
