Bad attitude and terrible bedside manner. He indicated to my family that it would not be worthwhile to treat him without fully understanding his case or what we had been through. My father proceeded to awaken from his deep sleep after chemotherapy and have conversations which this doctor reported falsely as sporadic speech with little to no understanding. Some people should not be in the medical field and he is one of those people. He treated my mother dismissively and with disrespect after her dedication and vigilance in the care of my father. I could not imagine a worse person to encounter during a most challenging life situation. My father was diagnosed shortly before these encounters and the lack of compassion and understanding is alarming, frustrating and frightening. Our stress levels increased after these visits.

We really like having Dr. Chong as my wife's blood doctor. He is smart and kind and has a wonderful demeanor when face to face. We actually look forward to our visits with him. Any patient and their family would be more than fortunate to have him as their physician.
