My daughter’s maternity care at CWC, which Dr Afram manages was an awful experience forcing her to find another Clinic during her first trimester CWC added undue stress to her pregnancy The team has billing issues, no communications, doctors that do not read patients charts or care about patients! Prior to my daughter leaving this practice, she reached out to Dr Afram for assistance and he never responded! Avoid Capital Woman Care/Haymarket One year later, I am still dealing with the Center’s incompetence in billing & insurance claims! RUN …
New Patient/First Visit. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left...nothing but 5 star customer service. First impressions means everything! I was impressed! Evey staff member I encountered were professional, nice and clearly defined 'excellent customer service'. Dr. Afram is amazing! STELLAR! He is jovial , yet very focused on taking good care of his patients! His sense of humor will put you at ease. After I explained my health concerns to Dr. Afram he could have suggested a couple of different options. Instead, he chose to start with the basics. That, to me, is a reflection of his professionalism, knowledge and wisdom! I highly recommend Dr. Afram and staff at this Fair Oaks location!
I can't say enough good about Dr Afram or his wonderful staff. I had two miscarriages and I am so thankful I found Dr Afram. They got my here safe & healthy. They took every precaution. She is now 8 & growing everyday. I'll be forever thankful for Dr Afram & his wonderful nurses.
After being referred by another physician, I saw Dr. Afram to discuss the possibility of getting an ultrasound to address some pain I had been experiencing. I also opted to have a Pap test in addition to the pelvic exam that Dr. Afram would have carried out regardless. Since I was a new patient, Dr. Afram made an effort to chat with me before the procedures, which I appreciated. However, the other reviews about him are absolutely true; he rushed through this chat, talked over me when I was trying to explain the pain I had been experiencing, and somewhat condescendingly explained what might have caused the issues. During the procedures, he did not communicate what was happening at all, did not let me know when he would be inserting anything inside me, and used an improperly sized speculum. As a result, I felt like just a body to be poked and prodded, rather than a human being. I had rather bad cramps and spotting/bleeding the next day, which can be normal, but has never happened to me as a result of a Pap test/pelvic exam.
I am very thankful for Dr. Afram and his team. Every time I visit, I feel cared and supported. For my hysterectomy, he was very thoughtful about my other health issue. And the surgery was very successful in spite of the difficult situation. I appreciate all his hard work and service.
I had a great office experience, as always. I go to Dr. Afram, who has great patient care service. Most importantly, he takes time with his patients and listens to my concerns & worries. Thank you for always taking good care of your patients!
I've visited his office a handful of times, and I've never been seen on time. I'm usually waiting 30 min-1 hour before I'm seen for my appointment. I am one to have very high patience, but I always felt like Dr. Afram was rushing me to get out of his office and when I had more questions to ask him, he gave off a condescending/annoyed tone. I unfortunately miscarried right before my upcoming appointment, so when I called to update, they said they would change the ultrasound appointment to a miscarriage followup appointment. You would think that would update on their database, but once I came in for the appointment, each staff that saw me congratulated me on my pregnancy. I had to hold back tears and correct each of them. They all mentioned that my status didn't update on their computers and apologized. Dr. Afram wasn't very empathetic this last visit and still tried to rush me out. The lack of compassion is truly traumatizing, therefore I will be looking for a different OBGYN.
1. Rushed my visit. 2. Did not answer any of my questions correctly. He suggested Vit E and Mag, I asked for strength, and he said OTC is only one strength. He couldn't be more wrong. 3. He couldn't tell me why he recommended the OTC meds. I don't trust this guy’s advice/rec at all! I had to schedule another visit with another doctor—complete waste of my time.
This guy was rushing the whole visit. Didn't answer any of my questions correctly. I rescheduled with another doctor at another practice since he didn't sound knowledgeable or reassuring. What a waste of time that was!
He came in reading off the last doctors notes. Asked a few questions, did a rushed exam (didn’t explain as he was doing it). And then basically said what we would do next and rushed out. Never asked how I was, if I had any questions. I couldn’t get anyone in the office to ask what tests he ordered and why. The staff was rude and condescending. Ultrasound person can’t find ovaries, nurse couldn’t hear my heart beat while attempting to check blood pressure on so many tries. She couldn’t spell any medications or medical conditions and asked me for help. Very odd experience as a new ob patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
