The two star rating in no way reflects poorly on Dr. Doyle who I consider a fine Dr. and a very pleasant person. It doesn't reflect poorly on her staff and triage unit. As instructed, I called into the office to get the results of lab tests. I called and left 4 messages for the nurse triage unit and two messages for the office manager over the course of two days. I never received any calls back. I even left messages stating that I planned to write negative reviews from the frustration buildup over two days but still no one bothered to call me.

UPDATE: I have to update this review. I gave Dr. Doyle a 2 star review initially because of her staff, however, I wanted a coblation tonsillectomy and Dr. Doyle is on of the few top-rated surgeons who only does coblations on adults in the NOVA area. Her surgical coordinator reached out to me and I decided to go ahead and schedule with her. This was a great decision. While her staff really messed up before, EVERYONE came through with flying colors for my surgery! It was an awesome experience and I am glad I used her still when I normally would not. I'm now upgrading this review to 5 stars. The surgery went very well and I am now tonsil stone free and tonsil free thanks to Dr. Doyle and her team! INITIAL REVIEW: I had a bad experience with this office! I had an appointment with Dr. Doyle. Dr. Doyle was nice & had a great disposition, which is why I gave this review 2 stars. I wanted a tonsillectomy. I called her office after the appointment to schedule the surgery and was given a date & time. The person scheduling the appointment then transferred me, AFTER they had already scheduled the appointment, to the surgery scheduler who told me that the first person I spoke to put in the appointment as an office visit. She told me she would correct that, but I could keep the same surgery date. She also told me I would receive a packet of pre-surgery information. I was scheduled about a month out. Well, a few days before the surgery, I realized I hadn't received my packet & I started calling. I called and called and called and couldn't reach anyone in the pre-op department. Finally, after days of calling, I was finally able to reach someone the day before the surgery date. She told me the appointment was in the system as an OFFICE VISIT still & not a surgery! Then she told me someone would call back to reschedule & no one ever did! I called multiple times after that, but could not get anyone in the pre-surgery department again. I gave up! It's a shame because Dr. Doyle was nice & she is one of a few surgeons who does the surgery I needed with the technique I wanted to decrease downtime. Unfortunately, her support staff leave a lot to be desired. They are nice, but if you can't schedule appointments correctly or follow through with what you say you will do, then being nice isn't worth much! I feel like I'm in a Northern Virginia Twighlight Zone! These doctor's offices here have real staffing problems. The staff members don't answer phones, don't return calls and don't follow through on the things they say they will do. It makes me long for my days in the Pacific Northwest! Virginia Mason spoiled me with excellent front office staff, quick appointments and wonderful doctors!

I always felt that I was in good hands with Dr. Doyle.

Did anyone else get empty nose from her surgery? I have been left with chronic dryness, nasal inflammation, and an inability to stay asleep throughout the night that has really wreaked havoc on my life.

I have been her patient for more than a decade. In my experience, I believe she is fastidious and efficient which is exactly what I am looking for in a surgeon and doctor. She has carried me through two sinus surgeries for polyps. I also admire her quick witted conversation. She continues to keep my trust and I am picky about my caregivers.

I recently saw Dr. Doyle at her office in Fairfax. After dealing with a horrible ear infection and seeing multiple doctors -over a 3 week timeframe- due to a long list of strange symptoms, Dr. Doyle was able to diagnose and treat the root cause of my ear pain immediately. She is extremely professional, thorough, and her bedside manner is impeccable. In fact, several hours after my appointment yesterday, she called me at home because she had been "thinking about" my case and "had something else" she wanted to try. I cannot sing her praises enough!

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Doyle. She’s performed two sinus surgeries for me within the past four years. Both times were complete successes: improved breathing, reduced propensity for sinus infections. In a pleasant surprise, I had little to no pain after either surgery. :) Always, she’s been friendly, communicative, professional, and interested in my condition. She’s always taken time to review the issues, answer all my questions, and review the CT scans with me, and she provides me information I can use for my path for better health. Her credentials are superior; her virtuosity is superior; and as critical as I am, she meets and exceeds my expectations for a health care provider. Thank you, Dr. Doyle!! :)

I felt that they truly cared about my illness. They were very through although I did not get a final diagnosis.

In my interaction, Dr. Doyle was thoroughly professional and effective in diagnosing my sinus issue and in laying out the options for treatment. She took time to explain and advise, enabling me, as the patient, to come to an informed decision. I recommend her highly.

I am pleased to provide comment on behalf of Dr. Doyle. She performed diagnostic and surgery services for my Rhino Septoplasty Submucous Resection of Interior Turbinates. She provided me information I could use on my first visit, and from there, we quickly planned a course of correction. Dr. Doyle met with me ahead of surgery, which I thought was very nice. Results were SUPERB! I am very pleased with the results and I have better health. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Deborah Doyle.
