INOVA MEDICAL TEAM I am taking this opportunity to express my thanks to Dr. D. Mukherjee for an excellent job in performing the surgery on me in February 2022. He was very thorough and methodical in explaining the procedure and the surgery itself. He conducted everything efficiently and professionally. He invariably understands and is highly experienced and knows exactly what to do and how to get it done quickly and effectively. In my opinion, he is a true example of the type of doctor one would want with a superior work ethic. I consider myself very fortunate to have him operate on me. In closing, he is an exceptionally bright and hardworking person who provides high quality work with exceptional medical knowledge and treatment. He does his very best to do an outstanding job. Absolutely the best and outstanding doctor in his field of vascular surgery. His communications with me and plan ahead was timely and established a deep respect and confidence in his knowledge and experience. Truly a great doctor.

He was very rushed. couldn't wait until we got out of the office. didn't seem to want to answer questions. did nothing to alleviate our concerns.

My husband had an appointment with Dr Mukherjee. The doctor was in a hurry. He couldn't wait to get us out of the office. He did nothing to alleviate our concerns. My husband was seen late. No apology from the doctor. Lack of communication about what happens next.

Dr. Mukherjee performed a risky surgery on my elderly relative - carotid endarterectomy while the patient was awake! Most of these procedures are done while the patient is under general anesthesia....5% are performed by few surgeons on awake patients. The entire experience was flawless. Dr. M had a compassionate, confident and patient bedside manner. His P.A. Elizabeth was terrific as was the staff at Inova Fairfax Vascular Heart and Vascular Institute. He was a godsend for my family!

My husband was taken to emergency with extreme foot pain. We were fortunate enough to have Dr. Mukherjee consult and take on his surgery. Both his legs were in trouble with no circulation or very little giving him toe gangrene and he's not even diabetic! Dr. Mukherjee performed a Fem-pop bypass on his right leg, just did his left as well a month later and we saw immediate results. He has experienced minimal pain, is able to walk again and is keeping all of his body parts. Thank you Dr. M!

I had an extremely poor experience with this group. Arrived 10 mins early for a consultation appointment (referral from my GP); 1) was taken to exam room 25 mins after my scheduled time; 2) spent 3 mins with checkin info with staff person; 3) Dr M arrives 35 mins after my sched'd appointment and declares I need another ultrasound; 4) 1:45 mins into the appointment, I leave the office. No one seems to be in charge; no one communicates on wait times, next steps, etc. Drs and staff unresponsive.

This doctor is very knowledgeable about Vascular diseases. He is an excellent surgeon. He is very professional. I trust him and will refer him to other patients.
