I'm leaving 2 stars because the nurses I interacted with were very nice and reassuring. Otherwise, I had a very poor experience with Dr. Colvin. His exam was painful and he didn't seem to take any care or provide any reassurances. No one wants a rectal exam to last for long, but after 30 seconds he told me to come to his office and walked out even though I was shaking and crying. Once in his office, he told me I needed surgery but couldn't provide a time estimate. I'd just had major surgery, but he was dismissive of my concerns and made a judgemental comment regarding my weight, which wasn't related to the condition. The next day I called back literally crying from pain, and the nurse told me he would call back by the end of the day. I did not receive a callback, and the next day I had to go to ER where they found an abscess that needed to be drained. Dr. Colvin has not followed up at all.

Dr. Colvin, is THE best Dr. I have ever had. I recommend him highly, very experience, great communicator and knows what he is talking about.

Honest to God this is the second doctor that I have seen so far in USA that is great in all meanings like Dr Colvin. This is what I call real deal doctor. I was almost hopeless that these kind of doctors still exist. I will defiantly recommend only him for anyone is searching for not only good but great doctor. His bedside manners are the greatest you ever seen very respectful and gives you all the time you need to talk and he listens so carefully to everything you say and he advises you with the best. Not to lie about the office staff that I really think that they need to be trained more how to deal with patients over the phone or at the front desk. Un until the time of the moment I saw dr Colvin I said to my self I might have made the wrong decision by bringing my father here.
