Dr. Chang is an amazing sports surgeon who truly cares about his patients. He is technically gifted and also very knowledgeable. He is also an incredible researcher that is advancing the field of orthopedic surgery through his research.

I’ve seen Dr. Chang for numerous injuries over the past five years and every time he has been professional, courteous, and clear with treatment. If I have an injury he is always a pleasure to see.

I had a Biceps Tenodesis procedure to repair a severely damaged shoulder. The procedure went so well that my pain was immediately gone after the surgery. I didn’t even need any pain medication afterwards! Dr. Chang was very professional and paid close attention to my recovery process as well. I HIGHLY recommend him and will seek him out if I have any further orthopedic issues!

Dr. Chang was incredible! I went to see Dr. Chang after leaving a previous doctor because I felt like he wasn't trying to help me resolve my constant issue with my knee that I had for over a year after my surgery. I've had 4 acl surgeries and the 4th one didn't go well. I had ongoing chronic pain and swelling. My issue wasn't being addressed so I left and did my research and found Dr. Chang. He is very patient, he listens and takes the steps needed to ensure that I get relief in my knee. I couldn't extend my leg beyond 27 degrees for over a year and I would just be in so much pain. I began walking with a limp and over time didn't notice it. It was difficult to stand and walk for for more than 10 minutes at a time. He made it a goal to help me get back to my physical activities. My body was rejecting the hardware from the 4th ACL repair. Dr. Chang removed the hardware. I rehabilitated my knee for about 6 months before being discharged. Its been 9 months post surgery and I feel so much better. I can flex my knee without any pain. I can hyper extend my knee when I couldn't straighten it for over a year. I can now walk properly, play recreational activities. I am 34 years, former athlete and I am so happy with my progress, and I have Dr. Chang to thank for his passion and commitment to help others who want to physically be able to live the life they choose. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. CHANG for your orthopedic needs.

Dr. Edward Chang, Is an amazing doctor he took the time to explain every detail to me about my knee. He also ask me did I have any questions he even drew a diagram of the knee and explain every part of the need to meet.It’s not that often that you find A doctor with a good bedside Manners and care about there patient because some dr treat you like your just a number. Dr Chang treat you like a patient he and loves his job and very skillful . I would definitely recommend Dr Chang to my family and friends

Dr. Edward Chang, in ONE word is AWESOME/AMAZING! He is so very SKILLFUL and GIFTED, not only in his field but, also as a person. He has performed WELL ABOVE expectations in mending my broken wrist and given me another chance to live my life as I had intended. He is very professional, DETAIL ORIENTED/METICULOUS about his patients care. Dr. Chang is PERONABLE with his patients, as he treats them. THIS is what helps to promote POSITIVE HEALING. As Dr. Chang greets his patients, personally, he makes you feel comfortable as he explains the nature of your injury in easy to understand terms. The staff at his office also make you feel comfortable as they perform the necessary tasks/duties to prepare you for your visit with Dr. Chang. Every time I have an appointment with Dr. Chang, I feel as if I'm visiting a DEAR FRIEND whose purpose is to make certain my HEALTH and WELL BEING are PRIORITY! I went to Dr. Chang after I fractured my collarbone and found out I needed surgery. I was so impressed by Dr. Chang throughout the entire process, from the initial consult to the post-op follow-ups. He was always calm, personable, and thorough in his explanations of what I should expect each step of the way, which really helped to put me at ease. I also appreciated how Dr. Chang was so involved with the physical therapy process following surgery. He helped to develop exercise plans to help me regain my arm mobility and strength as quickly and safely as possible. Within a few months, I was back to near-normal range of motion and strength. I would definitely trust Dr. Chang with my care in the future should I ever need it!

I went to see Dr. Chang after 18 months of physiotherapy and pain management for a knee injury. We had some success with a mechanical solution, but spending the rest of my life in a brace was not a viable option for an active 30-something. We agreed on surgery, and one year later, I am still happy with that decision, and convinced of Dr. Chang's expertise in treating active people. I compare him to other physicians and sugeons I've had who were accustomed to treating older, less active patients (I'd already had multiple unrelated surgeries, including of the spine), and who had low expectations for my resumption of normal activities. By contrast, Dr. Chang listened to me, took the time to understand my needs, and worked with me to scale activities to match my personal capabilities; while at the same time, exploring solutions that would get me back to my desired physical state. I also found him respectful of my time; I cannot recall ever wasting away in a waiting room. During treatment/examination, I always had the impression that he was thorough yet efficient. I hope to never need him again, but would not hesitate to refer him to anyone in need of a great surgeon.
