List of Gastro Health's Reviews
Staff is exceptional Always makes it feel like a family environment.
Agree with earlier reviews about how poorly this practice is run. The experiences detailed by other patients are spot on. The practice used to be called GANV but it was taken over by a nationwide chain Gastro Health. Now the practice appears to suffer all the problems of corporatized medicine. Lots of PR and a fancy new website zero actual care. But not surprisingly Gastro Health is fanatical about billing you. Of course Gastro Health has failed to submit the bill to the right insurance company and despite you calls and reminders to it it continues to submit to the wrong company. So you are responsible for dealing with that mess too.
Doctors explanation of the procedure.
I really appreciated Heather Greenbergs approach to my issues. Great bedside manner and it felt very collaborative as opposed to her just telling me what I needed which I appreciated.
Dr Sardana was super caring and has been helpful I give him 5 stars. Whoever worked at the call center to get an appt was awesome too 5 stars. However I CANNOT get ahold of the person responsible for scheduling endoscopy for Dr. Sardana. I have left a voicemail sent messages in portal called multiple times. That’s very frustrating. Maybe they need more flexibility on who can schedule procedures. Because I would like to get this done soon and need to get someone to schedule it
Good service
There is mass confusion about sending in the right medications and correct dosage. It is the expectation of the office to do pre authorization if required by the insurance company. I have had to call back and forth between the doctor office insurance company and the pharmacy about if the prescriptions has been sent yet has it been pre authorized yet? Why isn’t this prescription covered by insurance when it is? Its because the doctors office never pre authorized or even contacted the insurance company yet.The doctor had the audacity to say to me this last visit because I have the expectation that his office to do their job that he “will not fight my battles”with the insurance company and that i will have to call the insurance company myself. I cannot pre authorize my own prescription I am the patient. I have already been contacting the insurance company myself. That is the doctors office job to do. Not only that different medication are sent to the pharmacy that I had NEVER even discussed with the doctor some of which I had already said to the doctor I can’t take. This is all ridiculous nonsense.
My wife was scheduled to have a procedures this place at 900 and they asked get the facility by 800.After keeping us waiting about 40 minutes we asked the registration person and she said you wouldn’t be called until 900. The reason they asked us to come an hour early is to fill out paperwork process payment and get ready which took us 2 minutes. They said it also gave time to use the bathroom which I don’t understand since that can easily be done at home. There was one person who was supposed to have a procedure at 730 and went to the wrong facility so they had to put him ahead of me. So my waiting time became 1.52 hours from an hour. The whole thing is such nonsense. Why make us come so early if they are going to make us sit in a crowded waiting room where people had to stand up until folding chairs could be brought in? I’ve been coming here more than 10 years and this is definitely the worst checkin experience so far.
agree with most other reviews. a male staff didnt get his name who is supposed to help schedule appointments is super unprofessional. also they dont send you an email with the appointment info after confirming an appointment which makes me super worried that the appointment may not be recorded on their side.
Explaining everything. Listening. Describing what needs to be done. Very caring. I felt safe and that I was with the right person.❤️😁

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
