List of Glen H. Silas's Reviews
Dr. Silas and his staff are excellent! I have been seeing Dr. Silas for over 10 years and he is the BEST. He is so knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Silas and Capital Women's Care
Dr. Silas is incredibly wise, thorough and genuinely cares about his patients. If you're looking for an OB, look no further! He is fantastic!
Dr. Silas himself is amazing, but unfortunately, this practice is awful to deal with, so I recommend choosing a different practice. They do not answer their phones, the staff does not do what they say they will do, and pray you don't have an emergency because absolutely nothing will be done for you. No one on their staff does their job well and their management is non-existent. There is no accountability and no one, including the physicians, call you back. Do not go through the angst and stress of trying to go to this practice, choose another one!

Dr. Silas is always so kind and caring. He makes what is not a pleasant experience bearable.
Dr.Silas is extraordinary!!! He literally saved my baby's life. I had a fibroid cyst that he recommended we check on via US just to make sure it wasn't interfering with anything. I was 36 weeks pregnant at the time and was very grateful he suggested that because I wanted to check on it as well. When they checked on the fibroid they found my amniotic fluid to be dangerously low. I got it rechecked and it was so low I had to deliver my babygirl right away. Had I not had that US I would not have known about my amniotic fluid. I was going to be working a long stretch of days and her movements were so sporadic I don't think I would have made the connection to get checked out. He is kind, knowledgeable, caring, and has an outstanding and genuine bedside manner. It is hard to find doctors like all the ones at Capital Women's care these days. Thank you Dr.Silas!!!! My babygirl thanks you ❤️
Dr. Silas was a great listener, he took the time to listen to my questions and answered them thoroughly. He explained what to expect during my visit as far as what tests to be Conducted. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable during my first visit. The front staff seemed friendly and welcoming.
I've been a patient, here, for several years. I was forced, to change providers, due to insurance. I was not impressed, with other providers, their staff or having to pay a deposit prior to the visit; and made my way "home". I was having issues, a few years ago; and saw two separate providers. Both recommended a hysterectomy, instead of exploring the source of the problem; and offered medication as a "band aid". Having more children, preserving my fertility and other options were not discussed with me. These providers actually were upset because I questioned/probed them; and demanded answers/other options. They seemed upset because I didn't want to do what I was "told"; and had the audacity to question them. They were, after all, the doctors. Thankfully, I know better; and sought a third opinion. I think of all the women who don't; and have surgery and suffer unnecessarily. It makes me sick. Especially women of color. I believe this was a first hand health care disparity; and possible iscrimination. Yes, it's real. Dr. Silas took his time, listened to me, performed exams, testing and surgery. He calmed my fears, took his time explaining things, offered options, allowed me to make informed decisions, told me not to worry and reassured me that everything would be ok. I trust him; and know that he's always given good guidance; and taken great care of me. He's extremely knowledgeable; and an expert in his field. He, in other words, knows his stuff. I have a family medical history, of multiple types of cancer, including my father, sister, maternal grandparents, maternal/paternal aunts and first cousins. So, I do my best to stay healthy, receive preventative care and have regular doctor visits. I take my health seriously; and know about genetic, controllable and uncontrollable risk factors. My problem, if left untreated, would've caused me to develop cancer. I was a single mom; and engaged at the time. He reassured my then fiance, now husband, as well. I'm still here; and able to stay healthy for myself and family. I had an in office procedure, diagnosis, surgery and medication (in that order). I have experienced no problems since my surgery. Dr. Silas literally saved my life just by listening to me. He's a true gem; and got a wonderful bedside manner. I've been a Healthcare worker all my life; and have heard and seen some, unpleasant, people and things in the field. There are many providers that are in it for the money, don't care, have horrible bedside manners, or awaiting retirement. It's nice to know that there's, at least one, who takes his job seriously; and cares for his patients well. I absolutely love Dr. Silas, his colleagues and staff. They cared, for me, through my pregnancy and delivery of my 15 year old daughter. 1000% will be with them, for a long while; and continue to refer others. I appreciate them; and want them to know that words can't describe how much. Please keep doing what you're doing. You do it very well. I appreciate you. Thank you. God bless you all.
Dr. Silas is patient, clear in explaining, thorough to the examination

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
