I highly recommend Dr. Silas because he is knowledgeable, patient and kind. I’ve always had a wonderful experience with him. Throughout my pregnancy and during labor, he was attentive, well informed and quick when my labor had complications. I try my best to see him whenever I’m at Capital Women’s.

Dr. Silas is an incredibly thorough and thoughtful doctor. He was the only doctor to call me after I got some troublesome bloodwork results that my general practioner had ordered. Dr. Silas and his office helped me understand what to do when none of my other doctors could even write me a response. There is no one I would trust more with my and my future baby’s health than Dr. Silas. He really goes above and beyond!

I highly recommend Dr. Silas - I cannot say enough good things about him. He was my OB at my first ultrasound, where we learned I was having a miscarriage. His compassion and bedside manner were exceptional. This was our second loss, and he immediately created a plan for testing and for future pregnancies - he showed the perfect blend of kindness and action. When we struggled to conceive a third time, Dr. Silas listened to my concerns, ordered additional tests, and referred me to a RE - he made me feel heard and like he was always in my corner. We conceived a third time (a pregnancy that resulted in the birth of our healthy, happy son), and Dr. Silas provided exceptional care throughout my pregnancy, and always took the time to explain things and answer all of my questions. What’s more, I could feel how genuinely excited Dr. Silas was for us to be having a healthy pregnancy and baby - he is a doctor who really cares about his patients.

BEST OB! Almost cried when his shift was over during my first delivery. Really wanted him to be there the entire time I was in labor. He is so attentive and saved my baby when the nurse wasn’t paying attention to the heart monitor. Always patient during my visits and caring. 100% would recommend.

I’ve known Dr. Silas for 20+ years and he delivered 2 of my four kids. He is the most compassionate, kind-hearted doctor; never rushes visits, and explains everything. If I could clone him for the other specialists I see, I’d do it in a heartbeat!
