List of Greg E Gaski's Reviews
I experience was TERRIBLE because Dr. E Gaski said my daughter had to put metal in my daughters arm. METAL! I was devasted, but when I saw my daughter I was shocked she was shaking her legs from hearing this. Dr. Gaski told me the surgery would cost 90,000 dollars, I was shocked. I told all my family members and my sister recommend me to a very good friend who told me about a very good doctor. Dr. Emily Hattwick. She was the best she was kind, compassionate, and most of all she did not do it for money, like doctor Gaski. And after a few months my daughter was normal. Go to Dr. Emily Hattwick if your child's bone is broken. The lesson I learned was that children's bones don't need surgery children bones grow since they are still developing but adults usually do. So before you give your children surgery think is there any other option, besides surgery. Thank, God!
Dr Gaski was the Dr on call the day I amputated my left arm while working at IU Hospital. Great service, Great surgeon, Great Man.
Wonderful, caring, personable and brilliant doctor.
Was in a car accident and had 4 surgeries on my leg. I think I have 2 rods in my leg but don’t know for sure because he never discusses anything with his patients except when he is going to do your next surgery. Don’t expect any time to plan for your surgery because I found out 2 days before on my 2nd-4th surgery. Doesn’t mention rehab or any other needs other than your next surgery. I have waited for over 2 hours for a regular office visit. When he does appear in the room to see you, he has had 2-3 other people he is training. He doesn’t ask you if you have any questions... I literally had to raise my hand and say “Excuse me I have a question” and without even answering your question he responds with “so and so will answer that “ and off he is gone. In the 4 surgeries I have had he has never spoke with me after any of the surgeries. One of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. And before the 4th surgery in my leg I said how many after this “oh probably 1 or 2 more” I never went back. 4-6 surgeries on a leg but yet a patient can go 1 time for open heart surgery. There is so much more but when he runs out of the room.. run the other way.. he is an arrogant scam
Dr. Gaski repaired a traumatic, complex fracture to my left elbow. He did a great job, and I am very grateful for all he has done to help me. I am having problems now with screws coming out, and part of my bone is not healing. He takes the time to call me personally and explains things very well. He is consulting with another surgeon about a total elbow replacement for me. His office staff is friendly, but be prepared for a wait to see him, although if he spending the time with other pts that need more information, etc., I don’t mind because he takes his time to explain things with you and the options available. I think he is a great physician! I would recommend him highly to anyone I know!
Dr. Gaski is very kind , compassionate, and extremely knowledgable
Dr Gaski was the fifth doctor I consulted for multiple segmental non union fractures of the left tibia due to osteomalitis. Three doctors recommended amputation, forth gave me IV antibiotics and hiperbaric chamber treatments. None of it did any good for me. Dr Gaski saved my limb and gave me my life back. It would be too long to describe the extraordinary effort he and his team of doctors went thru to accomplish that. Being in his care for over a year and half makes me believe that medicine is a calling for him. He really cares and makes all the difference. For me a miracle did happen thanks to Dr Gaski.

After breaking every bone waist down, he suggested when i left that I don't take and medicine for pain. He even denied my referral to a pain specialist.6 months out of my first surgeries, he tells my left leg may never heal from being broken.which he claimed he told me previously but didnt. Did not offer any medicine that could help heal, and or to speed up recovering time. I go in for 2 surgeries to remove some Hetertopic ossification and on the second surgery he did give me block. So i woke up
After breaking ever bone waist down, he denied my pain treatment referall. 6 moths later of horrible costs where I would wait a hour for 5 minutes of his time.6 months later I had 2 surgeries to remove some extra bone growing ( Hetertopic ossification)where he forgot to give me a block. I came out of surgery in God awful amounts of pain. Then I go in for a check up to have stiches removed and he checks my xrays and tells me "remember when I told you I thought your left leg would never heal." Which he never told me and never gave me any medicine to help heal my broken bone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
