This doctor is sarcastic and nonchalant which is a bit rude especially for the profession she works in. I continued to see her wondering if maybe i just need to take some time to understand her personality but then I just realized that’s just simply who she is. After my last visit she discontinued a prescription I’ve been on for a very long time without telling me and my pharmacy had to notify me of the change and I also took note of it after reading my after visit summary. She also failed to respond to my inquiry about my everyday medications and the reasoning for her making a change to my medication without letting me know which is not ok because there are several things surrounding this that could have a negative impact on a patient. This is just one example, and I do not feel the need to prolong the review with more poor bedside examples. I understand that doctors are very busy people with a tremendous amount on their plate but attention to detail is a must in this position. Proceed with caution. I will be doing my research to find a better doctor who is passionate about their job and their patients wellbeing rather than just collecting a paycheck.

Dr. Elzawahry is one of the most wonderful doctors I have worked with. She took my mom on at 90 with Alzheimers. She is warm, caring, respectful and she gets back to me! She has made the last 15 months so much better, working with us on medications, and other things to make mom's life better. We are incredibly grateful to her. We should all be as lucky to have her as a gerontologist. Incredibly knowlegeable and helpful.
