My "rock star" surgeon Inger Lerra Rosner, MD is the head of urologic surgery at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute at Inova Fairfax Hospital just outside of DC. And, simply said, she is getting me to the best possible health outcomes. BTW, we need more women surgeons like Dr. Rosner; women are so much better than men at explanating difficult and complicated medical procedures to patients, but also loved ones. She relieved me of all the anxiety that I had pre-op. What is more, she is entering me in a research study to learn about my genetic makeup and determine if there are markers in my genone that can help to predict prostate, uterine, ovarian, and breast cancers. Thank you so much, Dr. Rosner.
